Best ice cream.. all natural ingredients and everything is gluten free. First ice cream shop I walked into and they said 100% GF. Never had options and here we did. Totally recommend.

All ice cream, toppings, and cones are GF! Bees knees is delicious and available regular or dairy free. Tip: get a split scoop (two mini scoops to make one single scoop to try 2 flavors). Definitely a must try when in Monterrey!

Entire place is gluten free, which is great! They don’t allow testers which is a bummer. Their POG and Bee’s Knee’s Ice Cream were delicious, but dark chocolate was just ok. They also have GF waffle cones—wish we had tried them!

Yum! The Bees Knees was one of the best DF ice creams I've had, and loved that I could get it on a GF cone (made with oat flour). Delicious. My husband loved his dairy Bees Knees as well. It's a great little shop with very nice people working there.

I ate here a while back during a trip to Monterey, and afterwards could not stop craving the Bees Knees ice cream. I returned recently and ordered it again, and it was as good as I remembered.

everything they make is without gluten but then they have these allergy warning signs placed all over for the items they dont make in house - so its not a dedicated facility! ice cream was okay, the brownie pieces were so dry, but the GF waffle cone was excellent!

I absolutely loved this creamery. The dairy free bees knees was incredible, and they served it on a gluten free waffle cone that was perfect! I wish there were more of these. Everything in the shop is gluten free.

I had the coffee blondie with gf blondie pieces, which was delicious. All their ice creams are gf but they do have regular cones and cookies so it is not a fully gluten free store. I tasted my friend’s Bees Knees which they are known for and it was amazing! Think a sweeter vanilla (vanilla+honey) with sweet bits (their honeycomb candy)

I had the cold brew coffee in a waffle cone, which was delightful. It just might be my favorite GF dessert of all time.

We stayed in Monterey for 3 nights, and we visited revival all 3 nights. The Bee’s Knees ice cream is OUT OF THIS WORLD. My daughter really enjoyed the eucalyptus mint chip. The gf waffle cones are so good. I think I read a review on here that said they are made with oat…I didn’t ask and we didn’t have any issues (very sensitive). The line was out the door every time we came and it was worth the wait.

All GF - so great, delicious ice cream & cones, ice cream sandwiches. The mint chip tasted like the freshest of mint! Read that they ship and make custom cakes! It was a short drive from the Monterey aquarium.

The whole place is GF! So amazing, cones, ice cream, tid bits. A lot of flavors are for a more mature palate (eucalyptus mint is not your store bought green mint icecream) but so so good. Bees Knees is tremendous!

It’s true! EVERYTHING is gf including the waffle cones! My wife has celiac and a dairy allergy and she still had several great options to choose from. It’s a good thing we’re heading home tomorrow because we’ve been here more times than I care to admit. Do not miss this place!

I’m sure this ice cream place is delicious, but it is not safe for celiacs. I talked to an employee who said that the ingredients they buy have been cross contaminated. There are great gf places in monterey, but I would not recommend this one.

GO HERE!!! DO NOT SKIP!!! The entire place is GF. They have GF waffle cones and chips. They had FOUR GFDF ice cream choices! Their most popular flavor is Bees Knees, which is honeycomb and OUT OF THIS WORLD!! They had a regular and dairy free Bees Knees! I CANNOT wait to go back. The staff was knowledgeable and kind. It’s the kind of place you come across that is PERFECT for a kid with food allergies. Do not skip this place!

Great spot. They have lots of vegan options too. And the GF cones were super yummy.

They do have signage that indicates they are not certified GF, but I talked to the owner who said all their ingredients are certified GF.

*Update: definitely NOT celiac safe. I emailed the restaurant after my experience and this was the response from the owners: "Thank you so much for bringing this to our attention. We do not use gluten in our products but we are not a gluten free facility. This is why we specifically note in our in-store signage, and on-line, that if you have severe allergies to please take precautions."

I have celiac disease and I tried this restaurant after I saw it advertised as being dedicated gluten free. I talked to the staff member at the counter who I told that I have celiac disease, and she assured me that everything in the store was gluten free and safe for me. I purchased 4 pints of ice cream (all different flavors) and then came home and tested them with my Nima gluten sensor as a precaution, and it found gluten. To confirm, I used a second test and it also found gluten. I threw away all 4 of the pints without trying them - I wouldn't recommend this as a safe place for someone with celiac disease.

I am a very sensitive Celiac and thoroughly enjoyed a waffle cone bowl with some vanilla ice cream. Their waffle cones do contain GF oats, so that may be an issue for some but I had a wonderful experience.

Found this place on DoorDash. I called to confirm the GF items and they said everything was! I had a delicious ice cream cookie sandwich with GF chocolate chip cookies and organic vanilla ice cream. Even my gluten-eating family members loved the ice cream sandwiches. I will definitely be back!

I didn't end up eating there so I can't speak to how the ice cream is. Just reviewing to give people a heads up that the gluten free cones (and some of the ice cream flavors) contain oats. :( I know this is fine for some GF folks, but not for me. I do give them credit for having clear signage with the ingredients listed so I at least didn't have to wait in line and talk to a person before giving up and leaving.

Ahmazing!!! The Bees Knees ice cream was awesome. I had a double scoop, dark chocolate & bee's knees, in a waffle bowl. Going back tomorrow for another!!

there were approximately 12 customers in front of us and it took about 30 minutes for us to get to the front of the line. Serious service inefficiency here with four people at the front but only one scooping ice cream.

Why I like this place? Because they have gluten free/dairy free ice cream served on gluten-free waffle cones.

It's quite a bit of a wait and you'll pay a premium price but if you have a restricted diet it's totally worth it!
