Rio Grande Bar & Grill

Discovered this gem yesterday. The restaurant is in a little shopping center without a clear view from the main road but is definitely worth the visit. The server, Millie, greeted us with a smile. I told her I had celiac and had to eat gluten free and she directed me to a few options and customized my order to my needs and taste. I got the burrito bowl with shrimp and it was perfect - exactly what I wanted. The chips are made in a shared fryer so I passed on those. My friend got the tortilla soup and a quesadilla and enjoyed them. She also got an order of fajitas to take home which was very generous with nice strips of steak and chicken, and shrimp. She said it was plenty for both her and her husband to have for dinner with some leftover. Millie took the time and extra care to make sure the food I was eating was safe. I highly recommend this restaurant and will definitely be going back.

I have Celiac and am very sensitive. Love this place. Try the fresh guacamole and salsa with home made corn chips while you wait for your lunch or dinner. So many options. Family owned too!
