We had gone to this restaurant several times a few years ago specifically for their crab and were happy. Today we were told that they cannot make the crab legs gluten free because it is prepared/boiled in water with gluten in the seasoning. Waiter told us they were not able to steam crab legs anymore, they no longer have a steamer. We left to find another seafood restaurant with better options.

Ok first this is a nice location. Second the food was tasty. Outdoor and indoor seating. Live music. Ormond Beach breeze. Decent bar. Second, they have a GF menu, brought it out, we ordered the raw tuna appetizer listed as GF. It came out as tuna on a fried wonton. We asked is that GF? Told yes it’s on the GF menu so it is. They then asked the manager and it wasn’t of course. They nicely made it again without the wonton. Then GF plates (grilled fish) out and were nicely introduced as GF [insert fish dish name here]. The food was delicious but a little bit if a hiccup. As usual you have to ask a lot of questions and be in the lookout here. We did fine with the grilled fish.

I ordered the blackened shrimp and a baked potato. The menu notes gluten free shrimp would come with no seasoning. When my meal came out it was covered in seasoning. After telling the waitress she stated it was “good I caught that” because the seasoning had gluten. They brought me out another order of the shrimp and it again had seasoning on it. This time the managers excuse was that they didn’t clean the grill. The manager stated “we are normally much better with that.” I told the manager I wasn’t comfortable eating there anymore and to not try for a third time to get my meal correct.

Not a lot of options but the staff was very accommodating. The manager and our waiter were very helpful with suggestions for me. I had Riptide shrimp broiled with a salad. It was good.

The server was great, asked if it was allergy or preference. No GF breads but you can have any of the seafood grilled instead of breaded. The drinks are very yummy

Really friendly and knowledgeable staff. Food was great and worth the wait.
Yes
Gave me a "gluten menu" so I would know what not to eat. I had to ask LOTS of questions. They told me I could have rice, so I doubled checked & it is made with chicken broth which had gluten. Be careful.
