Genuinely the best gluten free place ever. Chicken parm is to die for and the bolognese is the best I have ever had. Highly recommend going out of your way to go here.

It warmed my heart to find gluten free and dairy free items all over the menu! They have a designated GF fryer. They even have GF/DF creme brulee and chocolate cake! I smiled through the whole dinner. 😋

I have had very severe Celiac Disease for over 20 years now and I was super excited to see how close and cute this restaurant was with so many gf options. I got the chicken Marsala dinner and the chocolate flourless cake and asked the lady taking my order over the phone to make sure everything was 100% gluten free and she said yes it was. I ate both dishes and was throwing up the entire night, with the worst contamination episode I have had in years. We spoke to the owner who says she’s a nutritionist and that her chefs cook for her all the time however sensitivity varies per person and I wasn’t looking for her story. I was very upset after getting contaminated and unfortunately won’t be going back. On top of that, I was given gluten bread with my meal that I asked to be 100% gluten free. Please be careful when trying new restaurants.

This is such a great restaurant, it’s so pretty, the food is delicious and they are very safe for gluten allergies. The owners wife has celiac. The daughter runs the restaurant and she’s terrific, very helpful with gluten free needs. A warm gluten free bread basket is served to those ordering gluten free. They make gluten free pasta, gf chicken dishes, they have a dedicated frier for calamari, lots of wonderful options!!! Delicious gluten free desserts available as well. We felt safe from cross contamination and truly loved our meal. We have returned a few times and can’t wait to go again.

Very high quality Italian Food. GF food in particular, is amazing and Lucia offers so many options between pasta, pizza, chicken dishes, Parmesan, Calamari. Homemade GF Safe Gelato And Sorbet, Flourless Chocolate Cake. All Amazing

Excellent food and an extensive gf menu. The staff is knowledgeable. My Celiac daughter had ravioli here for the first time. We travel 45 minutes from CT to Lucia's and always feel like we are getting a safe meal.

Great food. Felt very comfortable with the care taken for gluten free. Extensive gluten free menu. I was the only one in my party that is gluten free and everyone had rave reviews about food, menu options, service. We stopped on our way back from a day in NYC to CT and may just make the trip to go back to this restaurant.

Fantastic. Very Celiac friendly. Dined here several times. Food is FANTASTIC. Staff is very knowledgeable. My celiac husband and celiac five year old daughter have never had any problems. Thanks for a great and safe GF experience!

Reasons why you need to check this place out 1) gluten free bread! 2) knowledgable staff 3) they can make the majority of the menu gluten free 4) gluten free calamari? Didn't have it but they said they could make it (definitely ask about a dedicated fryer though) 5) all gelato flavors gluten free 6) More than 1 dessert option (beyond the gelato).
