I had dinner here earlier today (4 April 2024) with my family, based on other reviews I saw on this site I was extremely disappointed that there was no designated fryer, no gluten free menu, and about 3 gluten free dishes (almost none of which were celiac safe/safe from cross contamination). I am not one to leave reviews for anything (definitely not one to leave negative reviews at that) but I felt it was important to share my experience so others may make informed decisions about their dining choices (something I take very seriously when I don’t cook for myself). With this said, the waitress was incredibly kind and very sweet though not totally knowledgeable when it came to my questions/situation (I liked her a lot though and we were even from almost the same town!)

Great service and food! There is a dedicated frier so you can get the nachos and fries.

Excellent food from a chef who gets gluten free and servers who understand it too. Gluten free bread and buns. Dedicated gluten free fryer.

Celiac friendly?

Yes

Asked staff about celiac friendly menu, chef came out and understood cross contamination. Great service and good understanding at RIx and also EL Mercado restaurants. All staff we asked understand and both chefs came out to discuss Also they had a separate fryer

No separate gf menu but waiter said they have gf toast; gf potatoes; gf French toast; and gf pancakes. (Plus eggs/omelettes are gf). Plenty of options, Pepper Market isn't the only choice at Coronado Springs thankfully.
