I was at Riz St Clair this past weekend. The restaurant isn’t completely gluten free like its other location - but food was great and I experienced no issues with cross contamination! Highly recommend.

I can’t say enough good things about this place. The food is amazing and they 100% understand celiac disease. I live out of town and a gf bakery near me sells prepackaged food from this restaurant. I will definitely be buying some to tide me over to my next trip to this place.

Love Riz! Always satisfies my craving for Asian food that I can’t experience anywhere else. They can make 99% of the menu gluten free and it’s SO good.

Very accommodating. I have several allergies....gluten, cow's milk, allium, almond, honey, maple, etc.......and I was able to have sweet and sour chicken. It was really good. The waitress was very knowledgeable about my allergies, the menu, and ingredients in menu items. She suggested Pad See Ewe which was amazing. Non GF companions really enjoyed as well

A slight downgrade from the other location because their kitchen/menu aren't completely gluten-free, but still wonderful and very safe.

My mother and I were both recently diagnosed with celiac disease, and had the pleasure of finding this little gem. The first time we visited the restaurant in person. The manager on staff/ cook (husband and wife) were so friendly and kind. Then there was the food. Absolutely fantastic!! You would never know it was gluten free. The food was fresh and we didn’t have to worry about cross contamination. We have already ordered take out, and now Riz is our go to for delicious Asian food

This place is AMAZING. It’s so hard to find gluten free Chinese food and this restaurant does it so well. The crispy beef, Szechuan green beans, ha gaow and pad see ewe are delicious, and my non gf boyfriend agrees too. They are knowledgeable and understanding of celiac and cross contamination so I always feel super safe eating here, even though it’s not a fully GF restaurant.

I’ve had Riz a hundred times and they have always been fantastic have never had any issues with cross contamination or anything, always finished happy and full which is so rare for eating out. Today was another story, my gluten free spring rolls looked completely different totally different colour size and the bag was open- i was suspicious so i left it (a good decision) my gluten free fried rice looked perfect but after four or five bites it hit me. Glutened, it must have been cross contaminated because it wasn’t a severe reaction but it was enough to kick me down and leave me next to the toilet for the past two hours. I’m not even gonna try the spring rolls, my guess was they were busy and messed up.

One of my favourite gluten free restaurants in Toronto. The GF spring rolls are delicious! All menu items are clearly marked and the serving staff are knowledgeable about all allergy questions as well. I recently went with a friend who has a nut and sesame allergy. We were both able to enjoy our delicious meals allergen-free.

Feels very celiac-safe, but unfortunately I find the food and the atmosphere to be lacking. Doesn't feel exceptionally clean and the food doesn't taste exceptionally great nor fresh. Lots of potential here though. Love that they do GF spring rolls. Hope they can work on the quality of the experience a bit.

A real treat! I haven’t eaten dumplings or spring rolls in years. I wish I had tried the tempura too. The service was fantastic and knew the menu inside and out. The atmosphere was also great. Highly recommend.

This restaurant is amazing! Not only is it super cosy and stylish, they serve immaculately rendered Asian-fusion classics. The best part is that the staff is very knowledgeable about celiac disease and interested in accommodating gluten-free needs. I went there on “date night” with my fiancé who has celiac disease and he was attentively catered to. We will be back.

This place is an amazing find, they have amazing chicken wings 100% celiac safe. No where in the city can you find sports bar food that’s safe from cross contamination. The owner, management team, and kitchen staff have the strong foundational knowledge to support a safe environment for celiacs to dine. The cold rolls are exquisite, and the most famous dishes that you know and love from Riz on Yonge you will find here.
