Once they saw us waiting to be sat my wife and I were quickly helped to get drinks and our order in.She has celiac but I'll eat anything. No dedicated fryers but fried foods were listed as gf. We didn't trust our server's knowledge so to be safe my wife ordered a basic baked potato with butter, a small side salad without dressing and coleslaw. I ordered a spicy burger on a regular bun with a side of smoked Gouda mashed potatoes, which sounded amazing. I reiterated to our server that my wife's food needed to be gluten free. Simple order! The wait for our food was a ridiculously long time. Eventually it all showed up after we had already finished our beer and wine. Her slaw looked like the cheap stuff from Skippers long ago. The side salad came with CROUTONS and the baked potato had cheese on it which she hadn't wanted. She sent back the potato and salad. The 2nd salad was crouton free. The potato WAS NOT. There were crispy crumbs all over one side of the potato probably from a roll or a bun. I checked them for her. It definitely wasn't any kind of seasoning. My mashed potatoes were refrigerator cold and rock hard. The burger was lukewarm at best and looked silly. We notified the manager that we were going to leave and wanted to pay for our drinks. She comped everything, as a good manager should. We asked that they please educate their staff even on a rudimentary level. It was a bad experience all the way around, especially after having just driven over 400 miles.
