Menu lists what items are gluten free and which items can be made gluten free. Had devil eggs, meatloaf and corn soufflé Everything was really good and I didn’t have any reaction. Server made note of gluten allergy on the dishes as well

Not a safe kitchen. They were out of GF fried chicken because of a flour shortage, which sounds odd to me.

However, I ordered gf grits and they came with breadcrumbs on them. I had to send them back.

Sadly Root & Bone was great before the pandemic. Gluten free fried chicken? Omg Yes! Sadly now they’ve made changes and most items are only gluten sensitive at best. Two dishes came to the table without the proper adjustments to be gluten free, thankfully I was careful to check and sent each one back and, although made it clear upon our first order, restated the severity of our allergy. I’m not sure if they changed owners or perhaps it was an issue with our server but it was a horrible experience and as a result we will not be back and I can no longer provide a positive reference for anyone who has celiac.

I absolutely love this place! One of the servers mentioned that the owner’s family member has celiac, so they are extra careful with how they handle the food and mark “gluten free” on the menu. The food is delicious! I have eaten here multiple times and always leave full and happy! One of the only places that also offers a delicious gluten free dessert. Absolutely heavenly! I’ve had and loved the shrimp & grits, skirt steak, ribs, and chicken ❤

The staff is very knowledgeable. They have some dedicated Gf and some items that can be made GF. They have fried chicken, made to order biscuits, even a specialty dessert and many other items all clearly marked. Everything we had at my table was excellent. I will definitely be back!!
