Our party got nachos, burrito bowl, salad and waffles along with fresh juice. It was all good and even better knowing it was safe. Seating is limited.

— Excellent

The environment was great people were friendly, super hippie, and spiritual. I got the southwest quinoa bowl thinking it was going to have everything on top since they had all of the ingredients listed under the dish, no it came all blended up like a soup and didn’t give me chips. I asked if it came with chips and they just gave me like 4 chips. Taste was good but not worth the $14.96 i paid for a sip of quinoa. PLUS nothing is listed as GF but they told me everything is, i don’t usually trust places like that but it seemed legit.

How would you rate the taste and quality of the gluten-free food you tried?

— Good

No signage about being gluten free but workers and other customers assured me everything is gluten free and dairy free. Took awhile for order to be taken. Only for them to come out and tell me they are all out of the thing I order so I opted for the Mac and cheese at workers recommendation. Only for them to forget about my husband and mine orders all together. Worker seemed to not care and remarked oh it fell through the cracks. Asked for order to be swapped to a to go order since we already had spent over an hour at this point waiting. Eventually got are food. My husband likes his curry but I thought the Mac and cheese was very bland and definitely not worth the cost. They also had no one picking up dirty dishes for whole hour we were waiting. Not sure yet if I would give them a 2nd chance. They had had other items that sounded good and finding safe places is hard.

This place is fantastic. Food is excellent. Staff is great. I am Celiac & will definitely go again. I ordered the nachos & Joy Juice ( watermelon, cantaloupe, lime & mint). Also we had Breakfast Burrittos bowl. It was soooo good.

Went into the place and couldn't find anything that said they were 100% GF. I asked the guy behind the counter and he said "yeah" so I went ahead and ordered. I got the beet burger and told him I have to go to the airport (where I can't eat) and sit for hours so I asked for the $12 burger to go. He offered me chips to go with it and I said sure. Total was over $17. I get to my car and open the sack to find that he gave me Boulder chips (was a snack sized bag really $4-5??) and they were the malt vinegar flavor. You know, one of only like two flavors Boulder makes that has gluten in it. Burger came on sandwich bread and not the bun that was advertised and the burger, while delicious, looked to have oats all in it, so I didn't eat anything beyond the first bite.

Are you looking for a neat place to walk to and get some good cafe type food? RootBound is a great option. Everything is Gluten free. The options include Gluten free waffles which are very good with Blueberries and Strawberries. The vegan whip cream makes this dish a very good breakfast dish. Only downside is everything is made to order, so could take a bit to get served.

10/10 on service 8/10 on food (Bf got the waffle and I got the burrito bowl) I liked my food but it was ALOT of veggies. He liked the waffle but wished for more syrup. 10/10 on juice and shots We loved the entire vibe of this place and the atmosphere. Very fitting of the area but such a quiet and peaceful place to have lunch/brunch.

Rootbound is a dedicated gf and vegan restaurant. My daughter with celiac was able to eat there safely and really liked the grilled cheese!
