Fresh and healthy and fast! I was able to get a gluten, soy, and dairy free bowl. Love the build your own option, and kids eat free! I’m not celiac but can tell within the hour if I have gluten- I feel great and good about a healthy and hearty choice.

I order from Roots very often and have never had an issue but today I found a pita chip at the bottom of my bowl. I called and the manager was incredibly apologetic and offered refund and a bowl remade. Just be aware that it is a shared prep space and that contamination is rare but possible.

Their menu in the store is marked if an ingredient has gluten. I usually do the el jefe bowl with no pita chips. Lots of gluten free options.

I have celiac and I was staying at the Courtyard by Marriott by the airport. I couldn’t find any gluten free places with delivery in the area. I couldn’t find their allergen menu online at first (it is available) so I called, explained I was celiac and asked them what was gluten free in their menu. They were very nice and said the only two items containing gluten were the Bulgur and the pita chips. I told her I was going to place my order through DoorDash and she wrote down my name, phone number and a note for kitchen staff to be careful preventing cross contamination. Food was gluten free (I tested) and delicious.

This place has a ton of gluten free options and is delicious. They staff was knowledgeable on what items aren’t gluten free.
