Hands down the best GF meal, no wait, experience I have had! Awesome meal pork chops and risotto to die for! Atmosphere that is top notch! Lastly, but not least my server Karri is the best! Made me feel like a real person again since I have had to go on the GF journey. Will I be back? Just try to stop me!!!

Yay!! I was afraid I'd starve in this small town full of gross chain restaurants but Roots helped me out! Delicious GF / vegan black bean cakes for an app and I got the squash & tofu entree. So much flavor! It's not a dedicated gf or vegan restaurant but I explained my allergies and the server was very attentive. My husband who is not gf or vegan got the pulled pork sandwich and loved that as well. I don't mind spending more to get a flavorful, seasonal, delicious meal. If I'm up here again, I'll definitely be back!

This restaraunt comes off as though theyre celiac friendly but theyre not. I ordered the Apple cobbler for dessert strictly because it was listed as gf. I havent been so sick in months.

They do have Gf bread (which brand though?) but they charge an arm and a leg for it. Maybe I'm just too particular, but I had a really hard time finding something to eat. At dinner, I had salmon. It was tiny. My friends had burgers and fries -- full sized plates loaded with food for much less money. The fries are not gf. They bring bread to the table but offered me nothing unless I wanted to shell out $ for cold Gf bread. Many restaurants will give cheese crisps or veggie slices, but they refused to. And then, there must have been some cc because I got really sick. Also, the waitress and hostess have different stories about which menu items were gf and which were not. I emailed the owner and played phone tag a few times but we never actually spoke. I was very disappointed as gf options in Rutland are few.
