Review of Rosalita's Cantina

The dinner itself was absolutely delicious! The menu is mostly clearly labeled. There are a few items that are not labeled gluten free that actually are, but that’s better than the opposite! The real issue came with dessert. We asked if there was any GF dessert, our waitress (who was lovely) said she would check. The kitchen manager said the chocolate raspberry torte was gluten free, but the menu said it had a “thick oreo crust.” When we got the dessert, it had a thick cookie crust. The kitchen manager then told our waitress it was not oreo but some kind of cookie (and they don’t have access to what the cookie was because they threw the box away) and that it was in fact gluten free. I can’t speak for others but I don’t trust that in the slightest, so I didn’t eat any of it. Luckily my family could or else it would have been wasted. Good dinner, but I really don’t know educated their kitchen staff is!
