Food was great but the elotes were fried in the deep fryer for no good reason. My waiter knew I was GF so did not see a problem. I had a few bites and could tell they were deep fried. I asked my waiter and he confirmed that they are flash fried in a pan. I then saw him talk to the chef who corrected him that they throw them in the deep fryer because it is easier. My waiter immediately took them away, refunded the dish and comped my drink. With a lot of apologies. I was only minorly glutened. It is rare to see a waiter more aware and concerned than a chef who seemed to not see what the problem was.

Waitress was knowledgeable. Chips in same fryer so they brought me corn tortillas for guac. Felt totally safe with entree. Good food and drinks.

Everything on the menu that’s not fried is GF! They gave me warm corn tortillas to eat with guacamole since I couldn’t eat the chips and they were SO delicious.

All but 3 items on the menu can be made gluten free! Chips are made in a shared fryer, however. The staff was knowledgeable and helpful. The food was delicious too!!

Our server was knowledgeable about GF options, and proactively told me the fryer is shared so the chips are not safe for Celiacs. The food was tasty, although it didn’t particularly stand out. My favorite dish was probably the Elotes.

I got very sick after eating here. Major glutening. I’ve been many times and this has never happened, but there must’ve been some sort of major cross contamination in the kitchen. It’s one of my favorite NYC spots but I probably won’t be going back for a while.

The waitress marked my menu to show me what I could eat that was not subject to cross contamination. The menu is almost entirely gluten free. I did not get sick, and the tacos were delicious!

I ate here a few months ago and staff were very knowledgeable--knew which dishes would have cross contamination and prepared my food in a completely separate area for minimum risk.

They are very knowledgeable and told me exactly what I could and could not have to avoid cross contamination. Note that their fryer is not dedicated but they give you other options!
The BEST tortillas I’ve ever had. Because the fryer is not dedicated, they offer fresh non-fried corn tortillas and veggies to have with the salsa and guacamole. They are absolutely delicious! I had a mushroom taco as well that was fantastic.
Very friendly and knowledgeable staff!

Most of the menu is naturally gluten free and staff is knowledgeable about what is not. Chips are made in the same fryer as everything else so risk of cross contamination but you can have soft corn tortillas or veggies with your salsa instead!
Yes
Nearly everything on the menu is gluten free. They make their own corn tortillas at a station in the middle of the restaurant. I had the al pastor tacos. Chips are cooked in the same fryer as everything else, so not GF. But they provide vegetables to dip in guac, salsa, etc. Knowledgeable staff.
