Such an amazing little spot. great service and great food! Wish we lived closer because the food was top notch! My littles liked the arepas and sweet plantains the best! We enjoyed all the empanadas and were ensured they are 100% gluten free.

Just like others here I too used the app to find this place. WOW! I'm originally from Texas, and it's been so hard to find good flavorful food in the north without paying big bucks.

I say without a doubt this is the best place I've eaten in the state with 4 years under my belt. The food tasted DANGEROUSLY good, but zero reactions and no upset tummy even a little. I wish this were the one place I could take with me when I move away!

Wow, I didn’t even think I liked empanadas until I came here! My husband said they were the best he has ever had as well! They are made fresh to order and have multiple options for fillings. The carimanolas were like little clouds of heaven- a must have. We will be back to try the entire menu as everything looked amazing! . I’m celiac and super sensitive so it’s nice to have a 100% GF restaurant here in Macomb County. And a shout out to the owners and staff who are very nice and accommodating!

As someone who has Celiac disease, it is so tricky going out to out. Sure, lots of places have "gluten-friendly" options, or some will even be bold enough to say "gluten-free" options, but they'll look you in the eyes and say there are shared surfaces and fryers for GF and gluten-containing items. I have had so many issues lately with careless cross-contamination, and it is exhausting.

I kept seeing rave reviews for this restaurant on local gluten-free Facebook groups and on the Find Me Gluten Free app for the past couple of years, but I was hesitant to try it just because I had never tried Columbian food before. However, curiosity finally got the best of me, so my boyfriend and I headed out to give Rosita's Treats a shot just before the new year. I was impressed immediately and wanted to return ASAP!

So far, we've shared the fish and chips during both visits (a dish that is to die for), a variety of empanadas each time (also shockingly good and just the right amount of crisp), and their fresh blackberry juice.

The fact that we have already returned to Rosita's Treats within just two weeks speaks volumes about the quality and taste of their food. We rarely dine out this frequently, but this place has won us over. With each visit, we eagerly look forward to trying new dishes, and I already have my eyes set on their fried chicken for our next visit.

I am celiac. Within 20 mins of eating, I was not feeling well. I woke up in the middle of the night with my typical celiac symptoms when I’m cross contaminated. I believe this place is gluten free across the board but maybe heed caution if you are a sensitive celiac.

Amazing experience. Authentic Columbian food and very knowledgeable staff. I felt entirely comfortable eating here as the kitchen is dedicated GF and I am dairy and egg free. I tried the bulgogi empanada and the fish and chips with fries and kimchi. I will be back for more empanadas and to try their fried chicken. Highly recommend this family establishment!

Woah this place is a gem and so good. Everything is gluten free. Can’t wait to try everything!! Make a reservation if you plan to eat there. We made a 3:30 reservation for 3 people on a sunday and still had a wait but it was worth it!

One of the most incredible dining experiences I’ve ever had! We walked in on a Saturday night not knowing anything about Rosita’s. The co-owner/cook/husband, Patrick, greeted us and welcomed us like family. For some reason it was a slow business night when typically you would have an hour wait and require reservations, or order takeout. It was like fate cleared everyone out just for us!

We sat down and Patrick explained the menu to us. We were open to all of his suggested favorites, and we wanted the full experience. We sampled a little bit of most of the menu. We ordered the empanada sampler, bandeja paisa meat platter, and ajiaco chicken soup. We let Patrick pick our drinks (Tomate De Arbol and I can’t recall the other juice) and they were delicious.

We took home a tee shirt, a bag of coffee, two cans of soda to try, some of the caramel dip, and a lot of leftovers! We were treated like family and we left with full bellies and talked about it all the way home to Grand Rapids.

Rositas is Colombian style latin food, is 100% gluten free and the food is made fresh. We have tried almost the entire menu and everything has been amazing. They do get busy, especially on the weekends, I recommend having a reservation.

Menu is 100% gluten free. They offer a malt beverage, but it’s bottled so there’s no risk. The owner greeted us personally and checked in throughout the meal. Everything I ate was so delicious it made me want to cry tears of joy. I will definitely be back. They encouraged reservations on Friday and Saturday nights because the dining area is very small. I believe there were only 4 tables.

Amazing!!!! Thank you!! My fiancé and I haven’t gone out for a date at a restaurant since Valentine’s Day 2020. In 2021 we found out I had celiac and that limited all restaurant areas around us to nothing since restaurants around us weren’t dedicated GF.

We were looking around for GF takeout or GF restaurants on the FindMeGF app again and found Rosita’s Treats. We went today and made a reservation ahead of time just in case it was tight for space.

We were greeted and the owners of the store helped us find GF, dairy free, coconut free and kosher friendly options to eat. We appreciate the help finding things we could eat.

The food was fantastic! We loved the beef empanadas so much we bought a dozen that were frozen to eat later at home. We also got some chicken fried rice to eat later and that tastes amazing too!

We also had the fried chicken and fries when we were there — also tasty and crunchy crust which I like. The Colombian crème soda is delicious too.

Thank you so much again and excited to come back again some time!

The drive was farther for us (we’re over an hour away), but the empanadas and great food is worth it.

It’s really nice eating out! I also feel fine and not sick which is great! Celiac, milk allergy, coconut allergy, and we keep kosher — it can make it tricky sometimes finding places we can eat at. So I appreciate that there’s options for us to eat at Rosita’s Treats. Thanks for being dedicated GF too!!!

The food was phenomenal! It was well worth the 30 minute drive for us. We definitely plan on going back. Just note that this is a very small restaurant with minimal tables. Make sure to book a table online!

We just returned from our first, but not our last meal at Rosita’s! 99.9% gluten free; the only items not are packaged potato chip & a drink. Patrick, co-owner with his wife met us as we came in, he was Very friendly and EXTREMELY HELPFUL!! Everything that is made in their kitchen is TOTALLY GLUTEN FREE. My wife is celiac and we eat & live gf! We are also pescatarian! Patrick walked us through the menu and was their not only to answer questions but was a gem in recommendations!! A great find for a wonderful place to eat! We DEFINITELY WILL BE BACK!!

Great fish and chips! My 7 year old that never likes fish said it was her favorite thing she ate. Loved the peanut butter and chocolate empanada for dessert. Prices are very reasonable. It’s a small restaurant, 9 tables of two seaters, so go early or make reservations.
