Review of Round Table Room

This review is for the Algonquin Round Table (which is the restaurant within the hotel). The software site changed my listing before uploading my review. I reached out to the restaurant days prior regarding gluten free options and the host pulled out a special gluten free menu and stated all servers are well versed with gluten free options. This was not the case on the evening we dined there. The helpfulness and knowledge of the team in the front did not translate to our server. I had higher expectations for this restaurant given the higher price point but found the servers unengaged and uninterested in making a special effort to accommodate my dietary needs. They also were not friendly and did not check on us after food was served nor did anyone really greet us upon arrival. My GF salmon was overcooked and butter was added to vegetables when I specifically requested none to be added (as I have a second food allergy).
