Review of Route 96 BBQ

EDIT: went back a couple times, and my previous review must have been luck. They put cornbread on my plate and other issues. Last time I put in an order they refused to fill it because of risk. I left feeling confused about whether they filled my orders in the past when they shouldn’t have, were avoiding the inconvenience of that order, or didn’t understand the allergy notes. Unfortunately since the last few experiences were not good and unsafe, I’m changing my rating. Feeling disappointed because usually BBQ restaurants are safe since the primary ingredients are meat focussed.

Everything was clearly marked however the fryer is shared. Very helpful staff, delicious food, great portions. Did not get sick! Well worth the detour off the interstate.
