The experience was great, however the food was a bit underwhelming. We had the steak which was very bland and tough. Not sure we would go back.

The RT Lodge restaurant went above and behind. I’m always a little uneasy spending a lot of money on a place that may make me sick, but the Lodge took care of me completely. The menu is clearly labeled, and even some items that are not labeled they can adjust to be gluten free (the pimento cheese dip with their homemade potato chips instead of crackers was out of this world). There were more than just salads to choose from, which is saying a lot. Besides salads, there were fried gulf shrimp, smoked trout dip, blacked swordfish, variety of steaks, and even more in sides and stuff. The best part was that after learning that I was gluten free, they brought out delicious made in house gluten free crackers for me, while my boyfriend got his bread. I highly recommend it, i was not stressed at all here, they were very knowledgeable.
