Great salad bar and steak
Not a fan of chains because the training of staff is really different from one place to another and I often think it's more suitable for people that are sensitive to gluten rather than celiac. The waitress brought me biscuits which are not gf. Made me wonder if she knew what gluten is...sigh... Ordered the Turkey burger with no bun and replaced fried by baked potato. Was good I don't like the fact their gf menu does not have the prices...
Ordered off of the gluten free menu and my chicken was brought to me on a bun by the manager. When I told him it was supposed to be gluten free, so no bun, he went to the kitchen and just removed the bun so now there's cross contamination. He then proceeded to ask me if the avocado and bacon contained gluten. They didn't take me seriously at all and if you are affected by cross contamination I highly suggest going somewhere else. Manager and staff seemed completely unaware of the gluten free menu and were definitely not trained properly.
No gf specific menu but they do have an allergy menu. Only thing I ever risk is a salad from the kitchen with strict instructions.
The food was very good, but the burgers were not cooked to order. The service was friendly, but the kitchen messed up my groups order twice. They gave me French fries, which I cannot have, instead of the mashed potatoes I asked for. There is a menu for ALL food allergies.
I ate at this restaurant on a Monday. I had the salad bar and the one chicken dish. Being gf I can't order my first choice but I picked this meal and it was good and I couldn't really complain about it. I came back Wednesday and ate the same exact meal and got sick afterwards.
Horrible service!! Maggie - Assistant Manager doesn't even know what gluten is. Gave us the "gluten" menu...even though he was handing me the gluten free one. Their cheese is NOT gluten free! Then brought the hamburger for my 7 year old with French fries that also are Not gluten free! Overall...will NOT be back!!!
We eat here every now and then. But make sure you talk to your server and the manager on duty at length if you have celiac.
Good service, very good gluten free menu and the food is good. I have been there 4 times and have never had a problem.
Typical Ruby Tuesday food. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable. Good GF choices.
my wife has eaten here many times with no issues
I am not generally a fan of chains, but Ruby Tuesday's has consistently decent good and a gluten free menu available.
You must be careful when ordering because I've had two different members of the wait staff that had no clue what I was talking about when I said I was GF. But I did have a great manager who took time to chat with me about their menu and also let me know that while the GF menu says the mashed potatoes are GF, she was told by a regular patron that everything he's eaten the mashed potatoes, he's gotten a little ill. So she cautioned me about getting them as well. I really appreciated that.
I went here with a friend and the server was very nice but uninformed it took forever to get a allergy menu and when I finally received it it wasn't much help because barley anything was on it, I think it was out dated, I explained everything to the server and he came back with my burger in a bun which had to be sent back I told him he had to make another not just take the bun off it I would get sick he waited like 10 mins and came back with a burger without the bun. I find out later that it must have been the same burger because I got sick later on. I DO NOT recommend this place for a celiac
Worst place ever! My husband's burger was ice cold didn't get the correct side. The waitress was beyond slow. Asked for ketchup for my daughters burger, waited so long for that by the time we got ketchup the burger was gone. She never came back to ask how our food was. Sat there for 10 minutes after we were done to get the bill. The sad is that there was a total of 6 tables there so it was not busy at all. Not pleased at all!!
I have been here twice with positive GF experiences both times. They have an extensive gluten free menu and were pretty helpful with the ordering process. Their triple prime cheddar burger without the bun and with mashed potatoes in place of fries(they don't use a dedicated fryer) is amazing!
They printed out a current gluten-free menu on paper when I asked, which was easy to read and offered a lot of options. I had Talapia and shrimp with two sides along with a margarita and mojito. Ruby Tuesday is now one of my to-go places when traveling.
Decent size GF menu, food was good
Had gluten free menu with lots of options
My favorite place to eat out!! Large Gluten Free offerings. I have allergies to wheat, milk and nuts.I have always found Ruby Tues. to go out of their way to make sure I had food I could eat. They have a notebook with menus that you ask for when you go in that has all the things you can eat on every kind of restricted diet. They have a page for GF, milk free, soy free, nut free, fish free. They never act put out by having to substitute something due to allergy. Once they brought me a potato with butter by mistake and it had run on other food. They re-made the entire dish and were sooo apologetic.
I have tried several times and end up sick every time. The cross contamination is my guess. Won't go anymore.
Our waiter was pleasant and aware of food allergies and said he'd make sure the kitchen didn't contaminate our order. However, after placing our order, he served us the customary cheese biscuits. They don't have gf hamburger buns nor fries. My son had the kids burgers with bacon and no bun and I had the spaghetti squash meal. It was good but buns and fries would've been nice. Our waiter later said to us he was happy he didn't have food allergies.
Faux spaghetti squash is wonderful! I will be back.
We were able to eat here safely and the food and service was great. As a vegetarian I ate baked potato with sides of veggies. My daughter had steak and mashed potatoes. The waiter was excellent and service was quick.
Love the squash spaghetti. I even got it before i was gf. The rest of the gf menu is pretty limited, but really all you need is the spaghetti squash!
The food was good. Took FOREVER to get our food. Service was very very slow. Had to wait 20 minutes just for our bill, the 10 minutes after giving the waitress our debit card she charges us for the wrong ticket. Even though the food was decent we probably won't return.
I deeply appreciate every restaurant that makes the effort to set forth a GF menu and stand behind it by educating their staff. Once I identified myself as ordering GF, the waitress made a point of letting the duty mgr know so my food was sure to be handled safely. I liked having a real variety in choice of sides (instead of just mashed or baked potato) and really enjoyed the sliced tomatoes in balsamic.
They were very helpful and knowledgable.
I went to this Ruby Tuesday's, sat down, the waitress did not know what gluten free was. She went and checked what was gluten free with someone and came back and told me they have NOTHING that is gluten free.
A visit to the best Ruby Tuesdays I have ever been to. On vacation in crossville Tennessee. Waitress(Tiffany) totally took care of me and the table was set up gluten free. My petite sirloin veggies etc. was sooo good. So good that my non gluten free family convinced me to order a second one so they could have some more. Lol. Manger Justin was one of the nicest guys. Found out it was my parents anniv so he packaged them up cupcakes to go so he didn't single me out. That was one of the sweetest things I have had a manager do. My mom was very impressed.
Good food choices, but the services has been terrible EVERY SINGLE TIME! The last time we were there the waitress spilled a drink on our table and never came to clean it up. She brought our food, but no silverware, we had to find our own. She left our check at the table and never came back. My husband finally went to the bar to pay.
Special Gluten Menue? Yes, a decent variety also, but NO bun with your burger or your meal! blah, BUT they left me pick a extra vegetable, nice! They need a graphic designer like "me", to create a color menue with pictures. What a put down, when they handed me this sinful plain white paper in a clear plastic sleeve. Give us dignity please. I appreciate your effort, but you can do BETTER. HIRE ME!! It won't cost you much, and your gluten rating will sore and you will get more business! As there will be more glukes like me due to GMO!
I ordered from the menu as posted on here, only things that were safe: Petite Sirloin, White Cheddar Mashed Potatoes, Grilled Zucchini. I explained to my server that I had a "severe gluten allergy" and that I needed cross-contamination minimized - i.e. please grill my steak on a piece of foil, clean utensils, etc. She either did not relay that information, or the kitchen chose to ignore it, because I became very sick and it ruined 2.5 days of my vacation. I wouldn't recommend this location.
I feel the same way about this GF "menu" as I do about many others. Yes, they tell you what is safe and what isn't, but it's not a true GF menu. It's depressing to have to order food without dressing, without sauce, without bread. I'd be more impressed if they started offering a gluten free bun for the burgers and some safer sauces on their entrees.
Waitress offered us Biscuits. Then said I don't know anything about gluten. We left
Ruby Tuesday in Niceville has a very knowledgeable wait staff as well as wonderful food. Most of my family are Celiac and have enjoyed eating out at Ruby Tuesdays with no problems at all. Their food is yummy and the portions are enormous, Their Gluten Free menu is extensive so you get a good selection and we have found them always willing to work with us on our order. Lovely people and a lovely restaurant.. I have to revise this review because my daughter and I got glutened the last time we went there. We saw the classic BBQ sauce on the gluten free menu and called in to make sure it was indeed gluten free.We were told it was. It wasn't. Now we are both very sick. It is the first time anything like this has happened with Ruby Tuesdays. Ordinarily they are so good and knowledgeable. They told us that the menu had been revamped. DO NOT eat the ribs with classic BBQ sauce if you need to be gluten free.
I was really nervous to eat here, but I asked for their gluten-free menu and gave the waitress a copy of the TD celiac restaurant card. I ordered the ribs with broccoli and a baked potato. The ribs were awesome and I didn't have a reaction! I'm definitely going back!!
Fresh food, grilled meat and seafood; grilled vegetables, great salad bar. Gluten free menu available.
i just found out that i am gluten intolerant so i plan to make Ruby Tuesday my first location to start my new life style. i picked this location because the place is very clean first and foremost. But the staff is great at assisting their patrons, and i love how the kitchen staff come out to see how you enjoyed your meal. And i must say its always fresh. I love the way that do things there.
No stars in my opinion - but have to give one to at least show my reiew! dont eat there!!! We did take out. First mistake. After arguing with the guy on phone the seriousness of not having bread or fries touch my burger - and opting for a baked potato on side. I opened my container after my boyfriend picked up the food and I had a bun and fries spewed in my container- the burger was half wrapped in wax paper(back exposed) and a bun thrown in with fries. After digging my burger from the gluten hell I discovered they laid the burger in wax paper while hot and all cheese was melted into the paper. Needless to say lost my money, didnt have my dinner and they lost a customer- they need to learn the seriousness of a GF diet.
Staff is well trained in gluten free and any other allergy. Good GF menu and very friendly environment.
They have squash spaghetti and I love it!!!
I asked to see their GF menu and they only had one copy so I had to wait 15 minutes while the other patron used it. Really? One copy? It's just a sheet of printer paper folks. Menu is limited and wait staff knowledge varies.
I wasn't expecting to be able to eat much here, but they had plenty of options. I decided to get a 3 side combo with a salad bar trip. The salad bar bus fresh and inviting, but I wasn't thinking about other diners and cross contamination and I got sick. The service was awesome and I would go back for dinner just not salad.
Very good GF menu. Good food and awesome service!
I was very unimpressed with the limited gluten-free menu. And the food was equally unimpressive. We won't be returning.
I loved the GF menu. Quite a variety to choose from. Its so nice to eat out & not have to worry about feeling sick afterwards. Excellent service!
Service bad at this local.
I had a question about a sauce and the waitress went and got the ingredient list from the package for me to check to see if it was gluten free. They have a good variety of gluten free options and the salad bar even though it might have some cross contamination when I noticed an item that had fallen on a gf item they brought out another fresh container.
The hostess didn't know right away whether they had a GF menu, but eventually located a binder for food allergens and let me take it to my table. It's two pages of recommended substitutions & deletions of their menu items. I still questioned the server on a few things, and all seemed well. Overall, it worked out great. Even though they didn't have anything specifically FOR Celiacs, they did a good job of informing me what I could have and how to go about it. Binder was dated January 2013, so I felt confident with the information.
Being gluten, dairy, soy, and egg intolerant and vegan makes things interesting. They had their allergen menu readily available. I chose the baked potato with salsa and avocado on it and steamed zucchini. I also had tortilla chips and salsa. They had no beans for proteins source. A lot of times I will bring a small container of beans to throw on top when I go to the restaurant. Slim Pickens but I didn't starve.
The food was good. They do have a gf menu with suggestions and substitutions. Mostly common sense items like get the burgers without the bun. The garden fresh salad bar was the best with tons of fresh veggies to build your own salad. The salad bar is included with most dinner entrées.
know the GM here, will only eat @ this location in the area az I've NEVER gotten sick from this location & have the others. GM ensures food is prepared to the GF specs every time. When we go in, I don't even ley her know it's me in there so I know she's not ensuring it's GF just because I know her.
Not cheap but steak, spaghetti squash, mixed veggies & salad bar are a nice treat after monthly fish meeting. Waiter even removed bread from everyones plates to prevent accidental contamination. GF buns so burger/chicken are an option without being "the wierd burger" would be nice
I ordered Creole Catch from the allergen menu. The server was helpful. When my plate came it had a butter sauce on it that was not gluten free. They checked when I asked and prepared a new plate. Server apologized and Food was good. I had no ill effects as I did not eat from 1st plate. Waiter good. Kitchen not so good. Be sure to double check
I ate here after being diagnosed with multiple food allergies. The server and cook were very helpful in preparing my food allergen free! For those with cayenne pepper sensitivity or allergy, steaks are seasoned in cayenne pepper unless requested not to be. There is also a lengthy allergy alert list by request! :)
Didn't get sick but would only recommend rubys for gluten sensitivity not for someone with celiacs
gf menu is list of what you can't have for a limited number of entrees - no sauces, biscuits, bun, rice, etc and the condiment listing but who eats out just to have condiments. Then after I order my New Orleans seafood it comes with the cream sauce on it so I get to watch my husband eat his sirloin and coconut shrimp with onion rings completely before my remade fish arrives with only a small sorry from the waitress. Wonder if the chef has ever tried eating this - maybe if they did - some effort would be put into making the dishes whole entrees not just parts of meals - if the regular meal needs a sauce , maybe something could be offered for the gf meal - the seasoning is strong and spicy - probably why you added the cream sauce!
Good menu with interesting options. Tasty alternative to plain grilled food. Watch the servers there though, they are not always educated on gluten free precautions. Overall very good.
A wonderful surprise! They have several options which are really good. They indicate which sides and sauces are gluten free. A must try.
Difficult to find something to eat. Any chicken option was without the sauces and there was no gluten free bread options. Very disappointing. It felt like they didn't accommodate the dietary needs they just took half the stuff out.
Ketchup is not GF! GF menu has good choices and server was helpful with information about the condiments and stuff on the salad bar.
Poor selection on salad bar. Tomatoes were rotten carrots were moldy. Not to concerned about GF. waitress brought bread and asked if we wanted desert. Not worth the risk.
The server will bring a gluten free menu if you ask, and it has a ton of main course and side dish options- even for kids. Good for generally healthy eating too.
as a vegan with a gluten allergy, ruby Tuesday does have one dish that is quite good. the spagetti squash marinara was the only thing on menu I could eat but it was enjoyable. I gave 3 stars because waiter could have been more sensitive when he waved the cheddar biscuits under my gluten free nose. as gluten allergies become more understood, I hope they add more items to menu and possibly a dessert.
Unfortunately, four times out of five I have gone to any Ruby Tuesdays the staff always bring my food with gluten . The staff is NOT TRAINED for food allergies ! I have spoke with management about the fact " if your restaurant provides GF and other allergen menus, then everyone needs to be aware".
Unbelievably helpful and friendly! They have so many delicious gluten free options at this location!
The wait staff brought us a GF menu, but when we ordered, still put our GF chicken sandwich on a bun. They took it back and made us a new sandwich, and the manager came to apologize. I would caution you to be very specific when you order.
Good gluten free choice. They also have a nice salad bar.
I used to order salad bar and baked potato here, but still had 'issues' afterwards. So I asked the mgr and he told me that he couldn't guarantee the bacon or sour cream to be g/f. When I had the salad bar, it hadn't been well maintained, and there were croutons floating in the dressing. Ugh. I'll pass on this one.
Not only does this place have great service and a very knowledgeable team but the gluten-free menu is ver detailed and awesome!! Prices reasonable very clean and the food is amazing! GO CHECK IT OUT!!
I just escaped from the icebox that is Ruby Tuesday's. They keep it so cold, your body aches. As for the food, my husband's cream was spoiled and the waitress' response was that it was not past the expiration date and offered plain milk! I guess the other patrons get to have spoiled cream as well. Food took forever to arrive and was cold in a few minutes, thanks to the icy cold air conditioning. The gluten free option arrived lukewarm, tough, and tasteless. I had a few bites and stopped eating. Yuck! Worst experience ever!
Nice variety on the menu. After stressing to the waitress to be sure it was gluten free, my meal was served covered with a sauce containing gluten. I called it to the waitress' attention and after her insisting it had no gluten she finally checked with the chef and apologized and told me a new dish would be ready right away. 40 minutes later my meal arrived. Don't know what was on it but I was I'll for three days. The manager offered us a free cupcake, though and since it was made with wheat, we declined. More proof he had no idea about gluten allergies. Needless to say I won't go back there.
HORRIBLE experience here! Ordered the turkey burger GF with no condiments. They sent it out with bun and everything on it. I'm like, people make mistakes, but before I sent it back my husband told me to cut the burger. I waited 20 minutes while my family ate. They proceeded to "reserve" me the same burger. Of course I saw the cut and told my waiter. We asked to speak to the manager, who happened to be the chef too?! He had no customer service skills at all! And tried to tell me by burger had been remade until I showed him the cut. My husband was livid! I walked away after an hour 1/2 of slow/poor service (not once did they ask to refill our drinks) without eating! They suggested we do not pay for our meal! I expected at least that! Would not recommend this location unless they totally change management!
80% of the menu GF, great service, very accommodating. Have GF bread, steaks are amazing, lamb is not GF
i oredered off the gluten free menu and it said "served without sauce" it had the sauce on it and they brought it anyways the sauce was made with white flour... and the person with me is allergic to tomatoes they brought her meal with ketchup... be careful they are not allergy friendly
Dedicated menu lists which foods already on menu are GF. Nothing specially prepared. Contamination issues possible as they do not guarantee anything in the kitchen. Server was not knowledgable; relied entirely on menu (which was a printout from their website) for info. That being said, the GF selection I ate (Creole Catch) was decent for a chain restaurant and so far no tummy troubles.
pretty good food pretty good service pretty decent options
Manager really cared about gf. Ask for manager because servers are young and didn't have a clue. They DO have gf options. A step up from Denny's.
They are very helpful and the food is pretty good too.
We used to eat here occasionally, won't return. The menu changing and staff not being informed can result in cross contamination. We ate there last night, first time in months and while the food seemed OK, and we avoided everything we knew of that might have gluten or MSG, husband got a migraine and I had stomach upset. The "seasonings" that are subtly added to meats and fish often have gluten and/or MSG and other additives. If you check their gluten free menu, you have to request no seasoning to avoid these which is not explained on the menu. But even if you do, if they cook everything on the same grill and the cooks don't take care, then you get something you didn't order. We won't be returning anytime soon.
Large selection. You will want to stock up.
Really any place is gluten free if you consider this place gluten free. To much cross contamination.
I went a few months ago, so they may have changed their menu, but I was totally unimpressed with the gluten free menu. My belief is that if you're going to be gluten free, at least make a dedicated effort. No point in just putting your salads and random items on a gluten free menu just to have one because honestly, anyone with Celiacs could pick those items off a menu regardless, without someone helping them. Try again Ruby Tuesday....
This place is totally disgusting! The management is terribly poor, the salad bar is wilted, the water tastes dirty and the food was cold. We have gone back on many occasions in hopes that things have improved, but no. Bottom line, save your $$$ or go elsewhere.
sghetti squash is excellent just wish they had some gf bread to go with it!
Very observant of when I may or may not be getting gluten. They came and talked to me personally.
Terrible food and worse mixed drinks. All mix. :-(
I found their gf menu to be lacking in many ways, I was disapointed.
great GF menu selections.
Not a good review. Waiter was very unsure about the entire menu & even worse when it came to allergy menu. He tried to convince me something was allergy free when there is no way it was. Didn't take chance of it, so didn't eat here. Be careful with allergies at this restaurant.
Great service. It was so nice to finally have a good burger again.
Very slow service
Salad bar is really good
First time in a Ruby's in 6+ years. GF kids *LOVED* their food. My food was good, too. (Salmon a wee bit dry.) Great salad. Very friendly host & wait staff. Pleasant atmosphere. One of the largest & most GF varied menus I have encountered. Three choices & many sides on kids' menu.
I love eating here! Friendly atmosphere and the staff is very kind. Meals are served in a reasonable time frame. Prices are pretty good.
Great waiter understood GF. Food was good. Lots of choices.
Great service, good menu.
Great location and wonderful tasting foods! Staff was very helpful and even manager came to make sure I got the correct meal ordered. Will definitely go back!
got gluten here. not sure if was the dressing or food. went by their guide but still got sick.
Thank you for catering to my needs and thank you for having a selection to choose from. Your vegie trio is great with the all you can eat salad bar.
they are horrible. do not go there. others are great but KilnCreek location run away
Great GF menu! Always a. Great salad bar!6
Best spaghetti squash with marinara sauce I ever had!
Very good choice of items. I had the spaghetti squash, which I loved.
Asked for a GF menu & the server brought it immediately. Had the petite sirloin & it was very good.
They have a good variety and were very helpful.
No separate gluten free menu. Very limited selection. Food overcooked. Decent service
