Rustic Canyon

Rustic Canyon is a well known farm-to-table restaurant with a shifting seasonal menu of very interesting small meals. Sharing is encouraged. Our waiter was very familiar with gluten issues and informed us that all but two of the items our table was ordering were gluten safe. After the many dishes arrived, he then reminded the celiac among us not to eat the troublesome items. That is, he was watching, which was beyond what was required but very helpful. Our party would all give very high points to Rustic Canyon for nearly everything (we weren’t as fond of the desserts as we were of the small plates and entrees). I particularly liked the beets and berries, squid, steak, and trout.
