Safeway

A must go to if you’re staying on Kauai. We came from Southern California which has a relatively large selection of gf food compared to most other states but my god when I say I almost started crying in the grocery store, I’m not kidding. They had so many options, both new and common things. Even certified cookies and cream mochi and banana bread! It was incredible. I highly recommend stopping.

Not overly impressed with the selection of GF food. Searched the store for a while for someone who could help locate several items that were listed online as being available in the store (GF bread was nearly non-existent).

Many gf and df selections. Freezer section for gf treats bigger than we have at home.

Traveled to Kauai with Celiac daughter . You can buy pretty much everything that you can by at home in your good grocery store. did not check out the bread as we took out own

This Safeway is brand new and has the GF selection you would find on the mainland!!! Everything is clearly labeled an categorized. From bread to beer, chicken strips to drumsticks, pasta to pizza, pancakes to waffles this Safeway is packed to the brim with GF options. A celiac's dream come true when shopping. Look no further and don't waste your money at smaller markets- go to Safeway Lihue!

Great local supermarket with so many gf options. They are spread around the store amongst similar products rather than grouped into a gf section, so it can take a little searching, but plenty of naturally and labelled gf options here… even fresh cakes!

This Safeway seems to have the best gf items this side of South Bay. I have had terrific options to choose from compared to both the snell and Almaden stores.

Safeway! And they have a very unique Deli with GF options, like Pho Soup. Veggie or Pike bowl griddle. It’s basically as good as it gets .. if you are “on the go” and need a safe GF place. Wish my Safeway was like this one.

They are the only grocery store besides the one in Granby. They can be rude but what can you do?? Yes great GF selections
