Tons of gluten free options. Our waiter was incredibly knowledgeable about celiac and knew which items to avoid since they don't have a dedicated fryer. Excellent food.

Excellent, flavorful, GF dishes with nuanced options for mild, medium and spicy per individual tastes. Most dishes on the menu are GF. After a week of cowboy fare in southern AZ , with limited GF options, Saffron was a fantastic change of pace. My lamb and husbands chicken were tender. You can choose your protein and then your sauce. We enjoyed their GF roti bread too. The only disappointment was the rice pudding, which was basically pleasantly spiced milk with a little rice, rather than rice cooked in milk.

First time at this restaurant since I’ve had celiac. The waitress was very knowledgeable, told me about the different dishes that were safe. They can even make a papa Dom that is not fried in the same fryer as the others. It would be baked instead of fried.

The food was fantastic we had shrimp and spinach with cheese. Nice selection of wine.

Delicious!!! Most items on the menu are GF. They don't have a dedicated fryer, but do their best to accomodate requests (e.g., baked vs fried papadum). Will definitely recommend to other celiacs (and non-celiac friends).

Saffron is amazing food, knowledgeable staff, and a wonderful Tucson tradition for us—-with great vegetarian options and appealing spice leveling for all palettes.

All the sauces were excellent. Service was also excellent. No issues for contamination. Do not eat the chickpea/bread because it is fried in same fryer as samosas/gluten. We highly recommend the mango lassi. Portions are large. Chicken was slightly dry, but we’d definitely return.

Decent folks, great service. They're knowledgeable about cross-contamination issues, the staff are aware of what gluten allergies are, and we've never been given any grief. My wife and I have eaten here about half a dozen times with zero issues.
