Saffron Indian Cuisine

Saffron is our favorite restaurant! Most everything on the menu is gluten free except the naan. No items are labeled, but our waiter was very knowledgeable and we have never gotten glutened and we eat here a lot! Our favorites are the Chicken Tikka Masala, Chicken Madras, and Lamb Rogan Josh. The food is so fresh, quality ingredients, and the portions are huge- we always have leftovers. You won't be disappointed! We have tried other Indian restaurants and always come back to Saffron!

This was my favorite Indian place in StLouis even before I become celiac. They have great chai that is bottomless and they have many many tasty options that are GF. Also great for vegans/vegetarians. They are happy to answer questions and adjust the food and the spice to meet people’s needs. Owners are great people. The only thing I miss is the samosas. I can’t have those now that I’m GF, but if you have loved ones that can enjoy them, then they are the best I’ve ever had. GF items I love: butter chicken, chicken and vegetable korma, mushroom saag, saag paneer and many other items. I’ve never gotten ill but my celiac doesn’t always present with stomach issues, so just be aware of that. They seem to be very safe and always helpful. Enjoy!

Wow, wow, wow!! Owner was very kind, patient with all my questions, and very knowledgeable about GF. Food was incredible!!! Wonderful variety, lots of GF options. We will be back next time we’re in St. Louis!

LOVE THIS PLACE! I'll be back next time I'm in town. The menu isn't marked as gluten free but when we called they said pretty much everything on the menu was gf except the bread. Soooooo delicious, great waitstaff! Very knowledgeable, friendly, even adorable. Portions are large so you can share a dish or have leftovers for the next meal. Very clean environment and bathrooms. We filled up on an app and entree so didn't get to try the desserts, which all looked gf. You must try!!!!
