Ate a wonderful New Year’s Eve dinner here with friends! The owner took great care with our order and told us that 95%of their food is naturally gluten free also. Everything is marked on the menu. We had the kabobs and lamb shank in the dinner for 4. Everything was delicious! No problems afterward either. I will definitely go back for more of the Mediterranean cuisine at Saffron!

Outstanding food and service. Most of menu is gluten free. Have never had a problem after eating here. Owner is very knowledgeable about gluten free items.

My husband and I are just passing through and saw the great reviews for this place. So glad we stopped! It’s a very small but clean place with knowledgeable and nice staff. We had a combination platter for 2 with beef, lamb, and chicken. Meal came with salad and different flavors of rice, all delicious. Everything was amazing! Highly recommend. I feel great after eating there and I’m very sensitive. They do bring out bread at the beginning of the meal with a couple of interesting sauces. They brought me cucumber slices instead. Both of the dipping sauces are amazing on the meat as well. I hope you’ll try it. There are plenty of vegetarian options too if that is your thing.

Very knowledgeable staff and 95 percent of the menu is gfree. The food is good, but it wasn’t my cup of tea. Completely my opinion.

Knowledgeable owner and staff. Food was excellent! Will be going again soon... Was so distracted by the good food forgot to order drinks. I can not stress enough how good this place is!!! One of the most celiac friendly restaurants I have ever been in!

Nearly every dish is gluten free. The staff is welcoming and very knowledgeable about their ingredients and what is not gluten free. The kabobs are tender, rice varieties are tasty, and portions are generous. I would highly recommend the restaurant to someone who has celiac or chooses to be gluten free.

95% of their offerings are gluten free so there is very little gluten in the kitchen to begin with. Very informed and conscientious. I eat here weekly and the food is always amazing and I’ve never had a reaction. Worth noting: I am VERY sensitive/ reactive to cross contamination. My favorite eatery in the Hampton roads area.
