I have been coming to Sagebrush since I was 8. It’s one of my favorite Mexican restaurants. I was devastated when I found last year that I had celiac, because it cut out a lot of my favs there. They do have a gluten free menu if you ask. I don’t get sick if I stick to the gf menu and I’m very sensitive.

Nope. Orderedthe taco salad to go without the shell and explained explicitly I had a dairy allergies also so hold the cheese. The salad was slathered and melted cheese (why? I could see if there was a mistake and there was shredded cheese on it but that seems counterintuitive).
They remade the salad but I was still sick.
There is a much safer Mexican (though this is more Tex-Mex) restaurant in the area

waitress was super careless when i told her i have celiac and can not have gluten 4+ times. she brought out my salad which was supposed to be gluten free so i ate it. immediately after i started to feel sick only to find out the tortilla strips on my salad were gluten. moreover my fried bowl was gluten also. i notified my waitress and she says “so what do you want me to do about it” it was her mistake and she was beyond rude. won’t be returning here again.

No measures to prevent cross contamination.
No gluten free menu, not willing to give safe suggestions.
Server absolutely clueless about celiac/gluten allergies.
Server had a bad attitude about questions I had about menu choices.
I’ll never return to eat here. Very disappointing, considering all the positive reviews.

Had a wonderful experience here and it was my second GF meal out. The hostess has a GF menu printed available at request. Menu lists substitutes that would make any meal GF, not just the specific ones that are safe without changes. Our waitress was GF as well and helped me make choices and assured me the chips are safe to eat. I ordered the super burrito without the tortilla, sour cream, or enchilada sauce and requested chips on the side to build nachos. Order did not come out marked GF. I am GF for health reasons but will not know if it was contaminated as I do not have GI issues with gluten. I was very happy with our visit and will be back frequently to enjoy my favorite pre-GF meal!

I have a severe gluten sensitivity. There is NO gluten free menu or option! They do have corn tortillas. The waitress assured me I could eat a taco. I explained the severity and she just nodded. The taco made me sick, there had to be cross contamination or gluten in the makeup of the food. Will never go back!
No
Staff is rude and not educated (nor do they care) about allergies.

We have eaten here several times and never had an issue. They have a wide variety of items on their menu, and the food is good, so I don't feel like I have to eat the same thing all the time.
Awesome chips and salsa/guacamole. I always get the steak tacos served on corn tortillas and never have a problem. I also get the Mexican chicken sandwich on corn tortillas or chicken flautas. Stay away from sour cream, enchilada sauce, wet sauce, and other obvious things like fried food, flour tortillas.
They brought out the gluten free menu and seemed nice, but after eating only one taco my wife was very Ill. They contaminated the food somehow in the process.

I've been here a few times and have had great experience. Food is great and staff seems knowledgeable about Celiac disease.

The waitress was very good about my celiac disease and had everything brought out to me carefully, she even went over my order with me an extra time to make sure we didn't miss anything. I have zero gluten symptoms after eating there.

Please be careful lots of the menu was marked gluten free and we were told there is not a dedicated fryer. Most of the gluten free menu was not safe including the tortilla chips put on the table
Had the fajitas they were bland and lacked flavor. My corn tortillas came wrapped up with my husbands flour tortillas despite making sure they knew it needed to be gluten free
This isn’t a safe place
