CELIACS BEWARE. I made a reservation online and clearly stated I am allergic to gluten. When ordering i kindly requested the corn (maize) tortillas multiple times. Again i checked with a seperate waiter that my order was CORN TORTILLA QUESADILLAS. halfway through my meal i realized my food was suspiciously good. I asked the waiter if the quesadillas were corn for reassurance. He then disappears and nobody comes back for 10 minutes but they continue to wait on the tables around us and ignore me totally. Finally another guy comes and asks what the problem is and I explain the situation. He starts to cross examine me about why I didnt mention that im celiac and starts to blame me until I tell him to check my reservation details as well (because thats the only proof I had). He finally comes back and continues to blame ME saying “well you could tell they look like flour tortillas so…”. WHAT? if they handled this situation with a little more grace I would be more forgiving but the staff tried to blame me at multiple turns for their mistake. Maybe a simple apology would have gone a long way. Now my springbreak is ruined, I am very sick, and all I got from the resturaunt was hostility.

They have a gluten free menu in English and español and a very kind attitude. I got the steak tacos the first time and the pork dinner the second time. Both absolutely delicious. They made it seem like it was a shame they had to make it different but I don’t see why, it’s increíble. Not cheap but not too expensive either. They also have free wifi
