I’m an extremely sensitive celiac and this is the only Japanese/Sushi place I trust. They have fantastic gluten free options, and are extremely careful.
They use Gluten Free Tamari and bring the bottle to your table so you don’t accidentally use the regular soy sauce on the table. They even have their homemade Gluten Free Ginger Salad dressing - (just make sure to
Specifically ask for it because they also make a regular kind we can’t have)
If you want hibachi they will prepare the gf safely in the back. You can still sit at the hibachi table, but be aware there is a lot of steam and they use regular soy sauce on it so if you are ultra sensitive or nervous keep that in mind.
I typically order the GF Miso Soup, GF Salad w gf Ginger dressing, and either the Sushi Dinner (substituting the crunchy tuna roll for vegetable roll) or I order the gluten free pad Thai. Sometimes I order both because they’re so good I take the pad Thai home for leftovers.
As always I order everything letting them
Know I’ll get violently sick with cross contact and when they bring it out I always double check it’s gluten free. I’ve never had an issue.
This is one of my favorites and in the same plaza as 2 other great gf restaurants you should try (Red Heat Tavern + Burtons Grill)

Everything seemed great at first, they had a dedicated gluten free menu and cooked my food away from the hibachi table. They told me my dish was gluten free but unfortunately I had a reaction.

Really good! Waitress was knowledgeable and brought gf soy sauce separately out to the table. They have a separate menu you just need to ask for it.

Have eaten here a few times without any problems, they will bring a hibachi dinner from the kitchen so it’s cooked separately

They charged us 18% on our ticket cause we have a family of 7. Three of us weren’t eating and we ordered 3 plates. I will not return. I got sick here too. Just as a cherry on top.

Very friendly service staff good at answering questions about which menu options could be made gluten free. Most sushi can be made gluten free with exception of tempura rolls. Ordered takeout very high quality fresh tasting sushi came with GF soy sauce would recommend and order again.

I’ve only tried takeout, but in 3 experiences no reactions and I’m very sensitive. I have gotten sushi and hibachi. They’ve called to inform me something couldn’t be accommodated and offer substitutions or partial refunds.

Excellent full gluten free menu. Waitress and hibachi chef were very careful with cross contamination. Extensive options and my daughter got hibachi rice and hibachi noodle, which were excellent!
