Best sushi I’ve ever had! Waitress was knowledgeable of the gluten free options. Mexican Roll and Philadelphia Roll were amazing!! Tamari soy sauce available. Friendly service and fun environment

The food was yummy and was prepared in the back. The chef tried to make me catch shrimp that had soy sauce on it and i had to sit and explain why because no wasn’t good enough. But the girl sitting next to me tried to catch the shrimp and it ended up hitting me in the face which gave me a mini heart attack.

Unfortunately I got very sick after eating at Sakura. They don’t have a separate menu but told me they would be able to make the teriyaki chicken gluten free and they had a place to make it in the back safely rather than on the hibachi grill. It was delicious and they brought it out with white rice and some San-J GF soy sauce. They did had good intent and I’ve gotta give them a little credit for that, but before the meal was over I was running to the bathroom feeling so sick. Maybe it was a one off but I don’t think I’ll be going back.

Great service and really delicious sushi. No GF menu, but they do have GF tamari and the server knew which items could be made GF. I got some nigiri salmon and yellowtail and the vegetable roll. It was all delicious.

I went here a couple of months back and was assured everything would be gluten free and safe. They told me they’d cook my dish in the back on a separate burner with a clean pan and served me with gluten free soy sauce. I appreciate the care they seemed to put it, but I did end up getting sick and haven’t been back since. I’d like to try again since it gets such great reviews usually.

I eat here all the time. They are always super careful about my allergies, ask me questions, bring GF soy sauce, modify anything, etc. The filet mignon hibachi is divine. In love with this restaurant.
