Sakura Teppanyaki and Sushi

Delicious ! We’ve eaten here a couple times. Last time we ordered delivery & were surprised that they could make most dishes gluten free. Tonight we ate at the restaurant. They actually had everyone at our table do gluten free so my meal was safe. It was easier to not use any gluten containing sauces for everyone at the table.

I had the hibachi steak, fried rice, salad, soup and grilled vegetables. My meal was great & no ill effects

How would you rate the taste and quality of the gluten-free food you tried?

— Excellent

We’ve been here several times in the last few weeks. Despite having a different waitperson each time, all immediately understood “gluten free” and were able to tell me which menu items to avoid. If you’re here for sushi (we were), you have lots of choices with the sashimi and nigiri, but many rolls are tempura’d or fried, which automatically puts them off limits, in addition, their spicy sauce has some sort of gluten in it, so all spicy tuna/spicy salmon containing rolls are also out. That being said, they do have GF soy sauce, and both times, the fish we did have was super fresh and tasty. Felt very confident and safe eating here!
