The staff is wonderful, and their menu is very impressive. Really great meals.The salad with candied pecans will blow your mind. While there is no dedicated GF menu the staff very well informed. All sauces and dressings are GF, wait staff can tell you exactly what goes into each dish, and the chef will come out and talk to you if you have any questions.

They have a patio looking out over the Rideau Canal system. What a sweet place.

Terrible experience, food service wise. Prior to ordering, had a nice chat with the server asking about gf options. We settled on an option and it came out with a huge piece of regular bread draped across the entree. When I told her I couldn’t eat the dish now because of the gluten, she offered to remove the piece of bread. When I explained why that wasn’t an option as we discussed when I ordered, she agreed to take back my meal and get a new one. When she brought out the “new” steak, It had gone from medium rare to shriveled and completely well done. I believe they just refired the steak. Then the server yelled at me when we were leaving to say I should “speak up” about being gluten free. After we had a 5 min conversation prior to ordering about gf options… not a good experience.

Had a tasty lunch outside on the lovely patio. Staff very knowledgeable and steered me away from anything questionable. Definitely worth a repeat.

The Chef actually came out to discuss what I could eat safely. There were a lot of choices. They have GF bread and buns. I had the Taco Salad though, in a regular bowl. Was a huge serving and extremely delicious!! Prices were really good as was the friendliness of the staff. Would definitely recommend and will plan to go back again!!

Always very accommodating. No specific Gluten Free menu, you have to ask the server and at times information has been mixed. Ex. My son had a burger and Cesar salad which he was advised was safe, the next time we visited a different chef said they do use worchester sauce in their burgers and Cesar salad dressing so he ordered something else, he felt ok the first time so possibly they changed the recipe? Best GF in town of Kemptville.
