Explained that am both gluten and lactose intolerant. A gluten free menu was available and the waitress very attentive, discussing each course and option with the kitchen. Had an excellent steak, salad and sweet potato. Good value and tasty. Writing this 3 days later. No contamination.

This Saltgrass has a gluten free menu. I ordered and my waiter saw me with the special menu and asked what allergies I had so he could mark it on the order. I told him and ordered off the GF menu. My food came. I was talking with family at the table and didn't pay attention to my food. My meat was to have come with cheese & tomatoes, but came with onions, mushrooms & what looked to be gravy. I ate a few bites, realized something wasn't right, and discussed with my family. We still had the GF menu at the table and looked item up. It was wrong. Called the waiter over. He looked at it and said I was fixed the regular meal and called the manager. The waiter had entered the item correctly but the cook staff did not follow it PLUS the waiter didn't pay attention to the food when it was delivered. The manager came over, asked how I was feeling, took item off the ticket, etc. He did asked if I wanted him to fix anything else, but that answer was a firm NO! While I appreciate all that, it didn't help with the fact that I was sick a little later. Thank goodness I stopped eating when I did. If you have Celiac like me and go to this restaurant, make sure you pay close attention to your meal BEFORE you take a bite. I'm normally more observant. I do not want anyone else to experience the hurting, nausea, etc that I did on the 2 hour ride home. It was miserable. I rated the taste low on scale due to the issue and my soup and mashed potatoes were not as expected - very little flavor.

The food and the service was very good. Their gluten free menu has lots to choose from. I enjoyed the evening and did not get glistened. We will go back again.

Incredible experience! The best part was the gluten free starter bread. We had so many choices including dessert that I took my leftovers and had 2 more meals! Will return absolutely. The server double checked every item for us and came back to let us know what needed to be altered if not clearly marked.

We had a great dinner! One of my relatives has Celiac. They have a gluten free menu with many choices including bread! Highly recommend!

We had a great dinner here close to hotel. Steaks were fabulous. GF menu lots of options. We did not ask about fryer we had steak and garlic mashed potatoes which were great. Server was knowledgeable. Went there day 2 they were very nice but you need to know stuff on GF menu is not GF such as bbq sauce on ribs. We made them check which they gladly did and it wasn’t GF which is annoying bottom line if you have Celiac you ask a lot of questions. So don’t assume.

This is my go to every time I come here. Food is excellent I can even have a appetizer. Service is wonderful.

So disappointed! Waitress had no clue and manager didn't help our feelings at all. Needless to say we left and didn't eat.

Even had a gluten free bun!! The BBQ burger was wonderful.

Great menu however waitress was not knowledgable. Asked if fries were cooked in a dedicated fryer and not with foods like chicken fingers. Waitress responded, " yeah, I'm pretty sure of it" I pressed for more information and asked can you check for sure ? She returned and said "no" it is not dedicated and fries are cooked with everything. I dodged a bullet and if I didn't press for more info I'd be hurting now.

Delicious Watermelon Fresca Margarita & Potato Soup! Salmon Caesar Salad was just ok.

Had a dedicated gf menu with lots of options. Even brought out gf bread and butter. Good service and food was good. Had a steak and grilled shrimp with wedge salad and baked potato. Yum
