Salvadoreño Restaurant #3-Pupusas

I must have caught them on an off night, but there was no one working with any confidence in what was gluten free or what they do to prevent cross contamination. One guy said he was pretty sure the papusas and sides were “on the gluten free list” but didn’t have a copy of that list handy. But based on others’ recent reviews I rolled the dice (I rarely do this but had driven a long way) and had two delicious papusas, beans and plantains. I don’t react to every exposure, so I can’t say whether I was glutened. But I didn’t feel safe and will call in advance if I’m going to try again.

The food is honestly really awesome. I highly recommend. Zero issues with gluten flair ups.

Love the food here I have been ordering from them for the past three years. I haven’t ever had any issues.

— Excellent

“Everything is gluten free” I had vegan pupusas with rice and beans. Comfort food with lots of flavor. My glute full friends had meat pupusas and raved throughout the meal about the flavors. They have an amazing slaw served with each meal that is meant to be combined on your fork with the pupusa and a mild red sauce. Going back this week.
