If you love garlic, you'll love the garlic fries. Great flavor and dedicated frier :)

They've been there for 46 years for a reason - Samir is wonderful and so is the food! I called in my order for pickup and he greeted me as "hellooooo gluten free lady" - assured me all the food I ordered would be made gluten free, and nothing with gluten goes in the fryer. The garlic fries, gyro plate, and lamb plate were super tasty. My friend got baklava so he threw in a few gluten free dessert for me to try.

Fabulous meal and wonderful service. Samir was able to answer all my questions and direct me to a wide assortment of items I could eat as a plant based celiac. I had the Mousaka special with salad and tahini dressing along with garlic fries. Everything was fabulous. My husband cannot eat onions and Samir made a special combination plate for him. The falafel, hummus and baba ganoush were all amazing. I highly recommend this spot for great food!

Stopped in late and the owner took the time to run through the menu and say which dishes had wheat in them - which was very few if you omit the pita. Falafel is GF & delicious! Menu could benefit from having “GF” by EVERY dish that is GF - it’s only marked next to one dish now so a little confusing. Sweet spot on 43rd off the Ave. When the U-District light rail stop opens this is going to be a destination for GF falafel lovers.
Most anything can be made gluten free. It was amazing! I would for sure come back here, the portions were perfect (not to much and not to little) and the server was amazing!
The owner was super friendly and made sure I had the proper accommodations to my dish. He made all of the food for my friends and I, and it was delicious. Definitely will be coming back.
