I ate here in May 2022. We made a reservation for my birthday dinner. I called ahead and said we had a gluten allergy and could they accommodate, they said yes of course and made a note on our reservation. When we arrived they seem to have no knowledge of the allergy but we told them again. They made me a special plate of vegetables, somewhat disappointing and uninspiring but whatever, I can't be picky. But I also ordered fries and they told me it was gf. It was not gf! I spent the rest of my overpriced stay at indian springs sick. It was truly awful.

Asked about GF options. He said they have GF burger buns. Cool, I'll order the burger gluten free burger. With fries. The meal comes, and I'm instantly suspicious after taking a bite of the fries, they were too good, had that double coated thing going (I did eat a few). I ask him back, and ask if the fries are gluten free. He says no. He seems confused why I wanted to not keep them. He took the fries away and offered to swap out the side. Options were a salad and soup. My husband was eating the soup and said it was amazing. I asked the waiter if the soup is gluten free... He pauses, face crunched, thinks for a while and says "yeeeesss, it's just cream i think?". The soup comes and I'm googling if tomato bisque recipes and most include flour. So I don't eat the soup.
This is a fancy restaurant (like $12 for side olives kinda fancy) and at a 4-star wellness resort, it's part of Indian Springs.

This place really exceeded my expectations. The server was very knowledgeable and informed me they have a made to order kitchen so they could accommodate GF for most things on the menu. Our group started with the grilled octopus (sauce on the side) and Ricotta Crostini(deconstructed and accompanied by GF toast in addition to traditional crostini). For my meal I had the Ora King Salmon filled by Blackberry Cabernet Sorbet for dessert. The entire meal was delicious!

Ordered takeout online and was clear about dishes needing to be GF and not cross contaminated. Learned that they do not have a dedicated fryer, so potatoes with breakfast omelet were not included (as they are fried in same fryer with breaded items.) Felt compensated however with coffee and extra fruit. Also had gazpacho that was delicious.

Recommended to us by Ted at Arroyo Winery down the road…delicious apps and entrees…server was very friendly and knowledgeable…had the grilled octopus without the sauce and the grilled pork chop with polenta and broccoli…all were delicious…also had the Caesar without the croutons and it was so-so…the rest of the meal made it worth the stop…didn’t have reservations, but they were kind enough to find us a table indoors…indoors and patio filled up quickly as soon as they opened…reservations recommended…

Staff was knowledgeable about cross contamination for celiac customers. Felt safe and taken care of. Dedicated fryer available if you make a reservation. Let them aware you have celiac disease so they can prepare. Great food and didn’t get sick.
