Review of Samurai Japanese Steakhouse & Sushi Bar

I’ve eaten here three times, each time getting sushi, and have gotten sick. I know imitation crab is not gluten free so I ordered the Philly and spicy salmon. The spicy salmon has a yum yum sauce on it that has gluten so be sure to avoid. I don’t know why I got sick from the philly roll so I assume the sticky rice has malt in it. It was hard to talk to the sushi chef because he didn’t speak very good English and the host couldn’t translate for me. Even with my poor experiences, the employees here are very very nice and try to make food accommodating.

Also, they do have gluten free soy sauce but they told me they cook their food with normal soy sauce.
