they premake all the pizzas and freeze them. they don't have gluten free noodles, only premade lasagna and tortellini. if you have a lactose allergy as well you're SOL.

Very nice spot for lunch. They have a gluten free menu with a number of options. We split the GF lasagne and the GF stuffed tortellini with the tiramisu for desert.

Great location just off the Campo San Polo on the Salizada S. Polo, including outdoor dining on the Campo. Very friendly owners gave us tips for other restaurants to go to for a GF dinner (as San Polo is not open for dinner). GF pizza was ok, but the crust was a bit cracker-ish, particularly at the edges and after it cooled down. Topping options also seemed limited for GF pizzas, but we did not ask for a custom order, so not sure if other varieties were possible. We'd go back if we were in the area. Lovely people.

So good and great service! My husband and I ordered the gf tortellini and gf margherita pizza to share (he'll eat gf for me, lucky!), and gf tiramisu for dessert!! All were so good!! And they brought out gf crackers! They seem to take pride in their gf work. Highly recommended, my favorite in Venice!!

This is a bar/restaurant and the name implies. I mention that because they close sometime around 5:00 in the afternoon and are not open for dinner. This is family-run and they are content with a lunch crowd.

That out of the way, this was the best GF pizza we had in Italy, including the place I previously reviewed in Milan. The crust was crisp, firm and chewy - an elusive trio when making GF pizza crusts. And the real deal was the perfect pizza sauce which, in combination of that crust, made for a phenomenal pizza. Worth the effort to find this place.

Now, they also have GF lasagna and tortellini which may be as good as the pizza. The lasagna was soooo good we had to order two since my bride really didn't want to share hers. And we took the tortellini to go for a snack later on. Even semi-cold and eating with our fingers, it was excellent.

Oh, and if it matters, they also have San Miguel which is a very serviceable GF beer in the lager style. So good on a hot day that I had three. ;-)

A wonderful meal and experience: laid back vibe, no rush, wonderful cannelloni and pizze, liter of house red and tiramisu to finish off. Please check the photos to help you find your way.

A wonderful end to our time in Venice! We found this lovely, family run, sidewalk café near the corner of Campo San Polo while surfing the internet in search of gluten free food options away from the San Marco crowds. Peacefully serenaded by a nearby street singer on the square, we enjoyed people watching as we sipped our very reasonably priced wine. We shared our GF lasagna and GF tortellini. Both were excellent, as was the tiramasu! One of the sons waited on us and told us about his father starting the business 45 years earlier. They started serving gluten free options in 2010 and have several including pizza on their GF menu. Away from the crowds, this was one of the true gems we found on our visit to Venice.
