Staff were very knowledgeable about celiac and able to give me safe options to chose. My order accidentally came out with chips instead of the side salad and the mattress caught it right away and had my whole meal remade. (Chips were touching the burger). Unfortunately shared fryer so no fried options. Got the Hula burger on a GF bun which was good, not great.

Gluten Free menu with lots of great options. I had a lobster share Cobb salad and it was delicious and filling. Someone else in our party had a Hawaiian hamburger with a gluten-free bun and it was amazing. Server was very knowledgeable. French fries are a no go if you can’t have cross-contamination, and they made that very clear. I would very much recommend.

Great food gluten free roll. Had a lobster roll with a bun first time all week, with many places not able to accommodate gluten free!

One of the worst experiences I've had in a restaurant! If I could give it 0 stars, I would. My family and I brought our guests to dinner at the Sand Dollar. I have a severe gluten intolerance and asked for the gluten free menu. I was given a paper menu that had gotten wet so that much of it was illegible. I asked for another, but there were only two and the second was just as bad as the first. When the waitress took our order, I showed her the haddock dish on the gluten free menu. I then gave her the menu, which was clearly different from the other menus. When the waitress delivered our food, my haddock had bread crumbs piled on top of it. I told her that I could not eat anything with gluten and asked her to take it back and remove it from the bill. I did not want to have the kitchen make another because I did not want to start my meal when everyone else at the table had finished. So, I asked her to just bring me a side salad, which I thought would come out immediately. After approximately 15 minutes, the salad came and it was nothing but a small pile of shredded lettuce (approximately 1 cup) with 3 halved baby tomatoes and a quartered slice of cucumber on it. The bill came and we had been charged $7.00 for the salad. I asked her to please take the salad off of the bill and the waitress argued with me but then begrudgingly agreed. When she brought back the adjusted bill several minutes later, it had a 25% gratuity added to it! I asked to speak with the manager.
The manager asked me if I had specifically told the waitress that I wanted the dish made gluten free. I told him that I showed her the item on the gluten free menu (actually held the menu and pointed to the item for her). He said, "Well, I'm not saying it's your fault, but. . ." At that point, my husband intervened and said that he would not pay the tip that was added to the bill. The manager argued with my husband and then told me that, if we didn't like the service then we did not have to come back. I went outside with our guests while my husband waited for a bill that did not include a gratuity.
We will never go back to this restaurant again as long as it remains under the current management.

Yes
Gluten-free items are marked on the menu. There aren't a lot of options, but there are a couple of appetizers and salads, a couple of entrees, and they can make burgers with gluten free buns. (They were actually out of GF buns when I went, so I got a burger with no bun, but it was very tasty anyway.) Staff seemed knowledgable and friendly.
