I was very excited to try this new addition to the Walnut Creek restaurant scene. While the food had some delicious flavors, I was very disappointed in the service. Unlike other reviewers, the staff were not very helpful in advising us on the menu and it was clear the server and the person delivering food to the table were not communicating about the gluten concern. When asking for menu recommendations the server stated, “there is soy sauce everywhere in the kitchen and great risk for cross-contamination.” Additionally, the restaurant did not look crowded, but meals took an excessive amount of time to arrive. This was not planned pacing of the courses, but instead came across as a lack of organization. Finally, minutes before our food was finally about to arrive, the staff approached our table to tell a member of our party they no longer had the ingredients for her dish. Hopefully, this is simply a new restaurant still working out the details, but I won’t be back.

Incredible food that has turned into one of my favorite local spots. The flavors are so unique and most things can be made gluten free. I've caught a few mistakes on the menu when they were first getting started, but I've never gotten sick here after eating here over 10 times. Just make sure to let your server know that you have a gluten intolerance/celiac and they are super helpful! The food is so so good!

Amazing Indonesian food and have had multiple really safe gluten free experiences! Servers are very attentive to dietary needs, knew exactly how to guide toward the best gluten free options, and much of the menu was already gluten free! Beautiful atmosphere, felt completely confident eating the food gluten free, and a fun experience being able to try amazing unique food. We will definitely be back soon!
