Sarita's Pupuseria

All pupusas are GF, and very little gluten on the menu! I watched their line cook process at the market and felt safe ordering a pupusa at the counter without even disclosing my celiac disease.

— Excellent

The menu notes that all pupusas are GF. I had a concern about the tortillas they serve and the fried tilapia, but they have a huge vat of masa they can make tortillas from and assured me they did not use wheat flour. I ordered a pupusa (served with cabbage salad and spicy salsa), as well as a corn (filling) tamal. They were both very good.

Sarita’s is a great pupusa spot in Grand Central Market. All of their traditional and original pupusas are gluten free. And so delicious! This is a great spot if you’re overwhelmed with eating GF in GCM.
