They have so many options. What a joy to be able to order a sandwich - with the bread!! The bread was good, too! I’ll be back next time I’m in South Bend!

I have a gluten allergy so was very excited to have a fried buffalo chicken sandwich. It did not disappoint. The fries were incredible as well, as was my husband’s fried buffalo burger (not gf). The desserts were heaven, even my gluten eating husband said the lemon cream cake was the best thing he’s ever eaten. Love that they have so many gluten free options!!!

I can't say enough wonderful things about this place! The food is amazing. The service is fast and friendly. The have a dedicated fryer for fries!! I have missed fries so much. The Sassy fries are soft inside and crisp outside just the way I like them and the Sassy sauce... OMG! I had the Tilapia sandwich with a toasted gf bun. (How I have missed fried fish. Yum!) My friend said great things about her burger with a regular bun. I wish I lived closer! The bakery that shares the space offered a lot of gf treats and they cater too. I'm going to order delivery this week for my birthday!

Good food, big menu. Staff seemed well educated and didn’t blink when we mentioned celiac. Knew to separate the fries from an order that had a gluten bun.

Stopped in quickly while driving south. A little out of my way, but it was nice to be able to stop and get a quick burger and fries. Not as straight forward a process now, celiac considered. The sweet potato fries are great.

Not only was I pleased to find a Celiac friendly menu, my burger came with the best tasting gluten free bun I have had so far.

Nearly everything on the menu is gluten free and nothing with gluten goes in the fryer. They have GF desserts too. I had the tilapia sandwich and it was amazing! They also did a great job of preventing cross contamination. I highly recommend eating here. Note: The name has changed to Sassy's Burger Shack

Delicious! Everything was clearly labeled and described by knowledgeable staff, who also readily answered questions about other allergens.

Staff was very friendly and knowledgeable about cross contamination. They have a separate prep area for GF food. We ate here multiple times while here from out of town with no problems.

I love this place! I’ve eaten here several times and have never gotten sick! It’s nice to be able to go to a restaurant and feel “safe”. Highly recommend this restaurant! Yummy GF desserts also!

Sean is greatly aware of a celiac diet and lives it himself. Our son who has celiac disease loves this place and has always had a great gluten free meal. Our whole family enjoys the food and the atmosphere! Highly recommended from a Mom whose son has had celiac disease for the past 6 years. Nothing better in town. Thanks Sean!!

Lots of gf options. Burgers were fantastic and they have gf dessert options as well...brownies, cookies, mini cheese cakes etc.

Good food and reasonable prices! Staff is knowledgeable about Gluten Free and almost the whole menu either is or can be made GF. Lots of GF dessert choices too, although I didn't try them.

Awesome place for a burger! The have vegetarian options also. Gluten Free rolls, designated fryers and kitchen space. The sweet potato fries are amazing. They also have a bakery company that has a least 4 gluten free options.

Very Celiac-friendly!! Dedicated fryer for fries and wings! Very serious about dairy allergies too- they gladly redid my son’s chicken sandwich when he neglected to notice that it included ranch dressing. We will be back!

Awesome food, always safe for my son with celiac disease. Very clean as well! We have also used them for catering. No cross contamination issues and they do the setup. The food was fabulous! Highly recommend.

Not only do they have gf fries, but they also have gf sweet potato fries. They are awesome!! Had buffalo wings which were fine. They are very knowledgable about allergy needs.

Fantastic!! Staff was knowledgeable and there are so many options. Basically everything but the wraps were GF. They use tapioca flour in everything so no risk of cross contamination. I had the avocado bacon burger-excellent bun! The fried onions were great! Definitely would go back!!

We were passing through after a college visit anf foind this place via the app. Outstanding menu items & selections! This is the first place we've ever had GF onion rings! Great service and knowledgeable staff. We will definitely come again next time we're in town.

This is one of my absolute favorite restaurants! I always get the chicken bacon avocado sandwich on a gluten free bun and the sweet potato fries! So good! The bun is super soft and tasty! The best gluten free bun out there in my book! If you have any gluten issues, this is the place to go!

The chicken bacon avocado sandwich on a GF bun was outstanding both times I ate it here. Very moist chicken. I appreciate their commitment to greener, healthier, local products and large GF menu. We also got 3 GF desserts to go from the desert/coffee bar inside and loved them (2 different GF mini chceesecakes and a GF cream cheese topped brownie) . My husband and two kids and I ate here together on my 2nd trip and each got a meal and all of the food was wonderful. The fries were great and the guys seemed to really enjoy their burgers.

This place is the best quick healthy gluten free food in south bend area. Many, many gluten free options! Tastes great too. I will always eat here when I visit!!

I absolutely love this restaurant! I have food sensitivities to gluten, wheat and dairy, among other things. I was amazed the first time we walked in the door. I have so many choices! The burger bowl with the spinach salad is one of my favorites! So delicious! The Sassy fries (both regular potatoes and sweet potatoes) are crisp and flavorful. The onions give me the opportunity to have onion straws again. The dairy free chocolate shake tastes like a real chocolate shake. The desserts are fantastic with gluten free and dairy free options. We go to Sassy's once a week, and I would go more often if I didn't have to worry about eating too much. It is hard to have self-control but it is so worth it!
