Excellent food! Not too busy. The waiter wasn't clear about gluten, but checked with the chef who is Celiac aware. I had the duck breast. The chef substituted asparagus for fried cauliflower. No reaction. I'll go back.
For a high end restaurant, I expect the wait staff to be knowledgable about the menu and allergies, and ways in which any given dish could be cooked or not cooked to accommodate an allergy, as well as be able to suggest appetizers and drinks that complement the meal. My waitperson could not do any of that. The chef didn't come through either in making a tasty alternative, so ended up paying top dollar for a bad meal. I don't recall if I got sick the next day, but the dining experience was a "fail".
Great understanding of true gluten free and cross contamination. We went for a Valentine's Day prix fixe menu & they happily modified it for my Celiac needs. A great experience.
Yes
The waiter stated entree could be gluten free but within an hour after we ate I became sick.
