IU Bloomington location while visiting family for the holidays. Our daughter has food allergies so we were delighted to see a gluten-free menu to accommodate her needs. As you can imagine, going out to eat with a child that has food restrictions can be challenging so we actively seek and research restaurants that have safe options prior to going out.

We let our server know of her needs and ordered off the gluten-free menu {wow, 2 full pages in your regular menu seemed impressive and we were happy to see Udi's buns which she had safely eaten before}. We explained we eat GF but that our daughter's was an allergy so to please take extra care with hers.

Our meals came out gluten-free...except our daughters. She took a bite and quickly realized that her bun was different from ours and not Udi's. We immediately informed our server. We were upset that hers out of all of ours came out wrong but understand errors can happen...but what happened next is unacceptable! Our server took it away and advised a new one would be out shortly. A new one came out {real quick} with a gluten free bun but to our surprise the SAME BURGER she had taken a bite out of!!!!!

For individuals with gluten allergies you have to be cautious of cross contamination!! For an establishment with 2 pages of gluten free options we would have thought that the kitchen would be adequately trained and understand the importance of this. This is unacceptable and wait staff & kitchen should be trained to address food allergies. We did not feel safe eating there nor did our daughter. We brought this to the attention of the manager working that evening. She reduced our bill slightly and gave us coupons for our next visit. We will not be returning. I hope our concerns made it back to the kitchen as food allergies should not be taken lightly.

Gluten free menu with gf buns available. Friendly server that checked ingredients for my soy allergy too.

Menu items are labeled GF however the options were very limited. The wait staff had absolutely no idea what they were talking about, when I asked about a specific sauce being GF he said "it's got sugar in it which is a gluten so no its not". The GF bun was also chewy and old.

I asked for a gluten free menu. I was informed they didn’t have one. The manager came out and said the symbol GS meant gluten sensitivity, but nothing is guaranteed. Didn’t order any food

Had the Lucy burger with GF buns. I had no reaction. I also ordered a side salad with no croutons but they put them on anyway. Be clear on allergy.

They have gluten free buns which opens up a lot of options! Other parts of the menu are labeled with “GS” for gluten sensitive and the waitress was able to recommend sides for me! Very yummy!
