We ate here on vacation and we are Celiacs. Everything was gluten free except the flour tortillas on the burritos. They were knowledgeable and no in got sick. The chicken tacos were fantastic!

I have eaten here before and had positive experiences like others, but today I was informed that they cook the corn tortillas on the same areas as flour and the corn tortillas are made in a factory that produces wheat products so it's not really safe for me to eat here anymore, unfortunately.

I am so happy to find a place where I feel comfortable eating--AND the bonus is their food is delicious! Prior to going, I called and was told that all their food was GF except the flour tortillas. The corn tortillas are warmed up separately from the flour tortilla. Make sure you tell them that you are GF (the lady asked if I was Celiac, so I was doubly impressed!). I loved the signature taco with falafel best, compared to the chicken. I can't wait to return!

It feels so comforting to be taken care of. I mean, we’re putting our health in the hands of strangers when we go out to eat, right? At Screaming Goat I feel absolutely loved. This place not only cares about making delicious food from scratch, they also care about making it gluten-free and having vegetarian and vegan options too! Everything on the menu, except for the flour tortillas, is gluten-free. Even the Korean style bbq pork! Screaming Goat is legit. Go, now!

Our celiac boys got a sweet potato bowl with beans, rice, corn, cheese, radish and cilantro. Really delicious flavor and the woman behind the counter was very prepared and happy to make the bowls with clean gloves and inform the other servers of our *severe allergies*. All the meats and toppings were prepared gluten free. Only the burrito tortilla was a flour tortilla. Felt very confident and nourished after visiting here for lunch.

Great location with small eat in area, order at the counter and seat yourself. Also has good carry out. Numerous lunch specials. Whole family ate here and thought it was delicious! I had a bowl which was scrumptious and about 10 dollars, very filling and all very fresh! Also great selection of bottled craft beer and some ciders as well, also had a gf beer!

I have celiac disease and rarely eat out. My experience here was fantastic! At my mention of celiac, staff were changing gloves and cleaning work area without my asking! The food is delicious as well. I will definitely make this a place I frequent often.

Definitely celiac friendly. Very knowledgeable about GF and the difference between celiac and NCGFS. Everything is GF except the burrito tortillas. The taco tortillas are corn and they knew to heat them in a dedicated place. There are several vegetarian/vegan options and they are delicious!

I spoke with the chef (maybe owner?) and he said everything is gluten-free except the flour tortilla and press. He told everyone to change their gloves and wiped the boards. He was hyper aware of cross contamination and told me they would not press my corn tortilla on a press that has been used with flour tortilla. The only thing he warned me about was that the chips are not certified gluten-free, but they were not in contact with wheat while at his restaurant.

I felt 100% safe eating here.

This place had great food! I loved the bowl I got with vegan chorizo. Would strongly caution against ordering any food they have to touch with their gloves. I watched them pull out a flour tortilla and put it in the same tortilla press they put all the corn taco shells in. They also roll the flour tortilla with the same gloves they touch all the other food with. I got a bowl with all ingredients that were scooped and the chips and queso. So I think I’m good but would caution you to watch but as long as you are safe about it the food is phenomenal!

A hole in the wall which turned out to be a hidden gem. Authentic Mexican food. They were incredibly careful preparing my meal. Everything there except the burritos were gluten free. It was delicious too!

The staff (especially the gentleman with the white hair and beard) is super knowledgable about celiac and very understanding. He immediately redid my tacos when I said I had celiac, warming the corn tortillas in a separate oven.

Love this place! Visit at least once a week and the food is delicious. Owners and the rest of the staff get to know you by name and stop to chat with everyone who visits, one of the staff members has even memorized what toppings I like on my tacos or bowls. Everything but the burritos is gluten-free including the chips and they take extra precautions with cleaning the serving line and changing gloves when you let them know you have celiac (in case a burrito was just prepared). Tacos and bowls with pork or chicken are my favorite and I like to get them topped with chimichurri or avocado tomatillo salsa, cilantro, lime and guacamole (which costs extra but is so good it's definitely worth it). They also have falafel which is a nice treat because it's hard to find gluten-free versions of that. Their aguas frescas are a must try as well including hibiscus ginger, watermelon, cantaloupe and tamarind.

Friendly and personable owner and staff who were all helpful and took extra precaution because of me having Celiac Disease. Just about every single thing they serve is gluten free except for the burritos. All of their food is fresh and tastes delicious! I can’t recommend this place enough for anyone. Best treatment and experience I’ve ever had at a mixed gluten/gluten free establishment. The staff was unbelievably friendly and accommodating, asking if we wanted to try things and speaking of their processes. I could not believe how nice and friendly they were. Highly recommend. Great food, atmosphere, and impeccable service. They also do not skimp on the taco fillings. I will most definitely be returning again and again.

The staff were not only accommodating, but happy to help. The person I came with has onion/garlic allergy. The staff created something for her to eat. This is a must go place if you love tacos. It is a set up where you order your food and then take it to your table. Kind of a chipotle style line however food was way better than a chipotle. Unique tacos like the Latin falafel. Loved everything. Tortilla chips were light and crispy and tostones were wonderful. Are so much I was stuffed but couldn’t stop until I finished it all. They were very aware of gluten allergies and just about everything was gf. They did change gloves and wipe down counters to be safe because they make burritos with flour tortillas. The owner was fantastic and friendly. He walked around to than everyone for coming in. Such a great experience overall. The place was packed for taco Tuesday with all the locals so you know this was a great spot. You must check it out!!!
