Review of Scuttlebutt's Seafood Bar & Grill

This place is going to be one of those places for any gluten free person. There were a number of things in the menu that seemed clearly gluten free to anyone who has had celiac for a while. However, the menu says to ask for a manager if you have any allergies. We made our allergy aware to our waiter, who came back and told us that the manager said they had nothing gluten free.

Our waiter said that the manager was new so he went and asked the cook just to double check. The cook said all we could have was the blackened mahi-mahi.

What even? While I doubt that either of them was right, why would the manager and the cook say two different things? I honestly question whether this establishment actually understands what gluten free is.

Needless to say we left without ordering. There are so many awesome places on this island for anyone who is GF. Do not waste your time with this place.
