Pleasantly surprised and pleased.

We came in because of this App’s recommendation, and am leaving wanting to come back soon.

The staff were very friendly, knowledgeable, and have a dedicated fryer. There are many choices; however, my favorite is the spicy shrimp tempura roll (add vegan cream cheese (which I have never had before)) and the Caribbean shrimp taco.

Staff was extremely knowledgeable about gluten free and celiac cross contamination. A local spot as not many tourists know to go try it out.

So many gluten free options. Staff was very knowledgeable and helpful. The first place I’ve ever found that does gluten free tempura sushi and it is delicious! Everything was delicious. There was a separate frier too. Being gluten free and pescatarian can be tricky at restaurants but everything here was seafood/vegetarian which made things easy. Most of the items are gluten free and most of the ones that aren’t can be made gf. Also very affordable!!!

(Not for carnivores.) I absolutely loved it! I haven't had good sushi in a long time. I felt confident in the server's knowledge of allergies. Everything was clearly labeled. My toddler loved the strawberry milk. But, do NOT bring your meat & potatoes friend here. My husband had a hard time and finally settled for the shrimp burger and fries, which was delicious. The only meat on the menu were a few seafood options. We saw sandwiches on the description but didn't realize they'd be vegetarian/vegan. Otherwise definitely loved it and felt like home. Good food. Very knowledgable, separate fryers etc. Seafood and vegetarian. The lentil burger on gf bun was really good. The rice wrap and fish tacos were ok. Both were nicely done with great base elements but might benefit from a little seasoning or sauce. The fritters were super and the tortilla chips with salsa were yummy. The salsa was excellent- fresh tasting. Coffee was very good. The atmosphere is a little funny ( Mexican place turned Chinese?? with a hippy local beachy flair thrown in). Worth a visit.

This was is my first time visiting Wilmington... Our very first stop before checking into the place we were staying was food! Me being the only person with allergies gets stuck picking the places to eat. I found Sealevel city gourmet and wanted to try it (yes I saw fried fish and I was sold!) I am so happy I found this place! The people are amazing, and they can make just about anything gluten free!! They have a dedicated frier (which is amazing). So I had the shrimp burger on a gluten free bun with chips. Also I had the shrimp and crab fritters and had a oatmeal raisin cookie To go!! We will definitely be visiting here again before we leave town!!

My wife and I are carnivores but absolutely loved this place despite the lack of meat. The food was excellent. I'm gluten free (celiac) and my wife is gluten/free dairy free (not by choice) so we really appreciated having so many options to choose from. As for the 3 star below, you get what you pay for. The quality of food, the care taken in preparation and the number options available was well worth it.

Made from scratch to order. Great beverage choices: organic, alcohol, non-alcoholic, and smoothies. They even have fresh pressed coconut milk! I have never been sick from gluten on the 10+ visits I have had over the last year.

Very nice to find a Celiac-safe restaurant. Not the place for a meat lover! Tons of gf options but the up charges are a little steep (extra $3 just for a gf bun). Almost $40 for lunch but the pita bread was ridiculously delicious. Give it at least one try but wear shorts, it's really really hot in there.
