We checked into the hotel during a long layover and opted to try the hotel restaurant out instead of something more exciting in Seattle. Our server was pretty knowledgeable and more than willing to double check my questions with the chef. She said steak was safe, the salads could be modified to be GF, and that quite a few of the sides would also be safe. I played it safe with the rib-eye and sautéed asparagus and carrots. (I skipped the potatoes, it was way too much food already.) She also asked if I had any other allergies and let the butter off the steak. The food was a little underseasoned but otherwise cooked well (medium-rare was a true medium-rare) and I didn’t have any reaction.
