I love good Ethiopian food and Selam does not disappoint. Delicious! Just call ahead and make sure they have plenty of teff only injera. A lot of Ethiopian restaurants in the states will add just a touch of durum flour to give the injera better ability to withstand the liquid in the foods they place on top. However, injera is traditionally made with 100% teff flour which is naturally gluten free.
I highly recommend making reservations if you plan to eat there late and if you plan to eat before 6:30/7:00 and it’s busy be prepared to wait. They staff the restaurant heavily at 7:00pm, but before that they have fewer wait staff.
