The cupcake, cake pop and cookie we bought were all blah. The consistency of the cupcake was very messy and the bottom was wet.
entire bakery selection is gluten free. almost the entire selection is also allergy free from other common allergens like egg, nut, dairy, etc. good service. taste was 4.5 stars. would come back.
My family and I got a bit of everything. Some was good and some wasn't.
Great place. Thank you Find Me GF App. Gluten-free and vegan pastries that don't lose out in texture or flavor. Fantastic place to fill that craving for a rich and decadent treat. A tad pricey.
Delicious! Lots of options! This is a bakery only, not a sitdown café.
Amazing! I'm sick of birthdays with no delicious cake and these guys have fixed that. It's like celiac Disneyland in there!
Excellent baked goods. If you get lucky and they have sundried tomato rolls get them and you can freeze for later...delicious. Truffles are great and my son loves their cake push pops. I freeze them and we always have cake for him if a party unexpectedly comes up. All the kids are jealous because the look (and are) so good. Downside is it's quite pricey, but we are happy to have this completely allergy-free bakery at all!
My go to place in OC for GF sweets.
did not like. no flavor and just tasted like sugar.
OMG the cookie dough truffles though :) great staff and great options
The desserts that we got here were good for being GF, DF, NF, EF, CF, and SF. That being said, if you aren't allergic to everything, there are better options. The cookie dough truffle was very good, but that is the only good item that I tasted. The dough used in the pastries is really bland, and the only flavor of any kind comes from the icing. I wouldn't recommend this bakery unless you have tons of allergies or dietary restrictions. Or unless you want a cookie dough truffle.
This place is amazing!! everything is so deliciouse! my favorites are the marshmallow cupcakes and the cinnamon bread!! It makes a killer french toast!! it is completely safe for celiacs
Ordered a cake for my daughters birthday. A complete waste of money. Inedible. We threw it out.
Sensitive Sweets is located in Fountain Valley, California, not too far from Disneyland. I actually can’t go to Disneyland anymore without stopping there to pick up some sweets first. I have a major sweet tooth and Sensitive Sweets has several gluten free and vegan options. I am also grateful to Melanie Hohman for offering shipping on Sensitive Sweets website online for many of their yummy items.
The $10 loaf of bread was inedible. After waiting 30 minutes for service I was told they need a 24 in advance order for the groupon. Tried "donut holes" which are mini cupcakes... Ok tasting... but WAY Overpriced.
A bakery that is 100% safe for me! Gluten & dairy free! Woo! I had the Remedy Bar and the Fudge too brownie! Both delicious! Loved the gooey remedy bar! Also, I sampled the pumpkin spice donut hole, and it was yummy!!
The staff is very friendly and all the gf goodies taste delicious !! My son was very happy 💙
I can't believe this place is gluten free but I am soooo thankful. The chocolate cupcakes are the best as is the pizza dough, which sells out fast so I'd recommend calling first to check availability. I've tried other GF pizza doughs which tend to be either dense or flatbread style and this dough is neither.
Uh-mazing!!!! Love the staff. I have been so sad for months bc of having to go gluten free and dairy free for health reasons! I went all through the holidays with no treats ;( I am so beyond excited this place exists for people like myself and countless others loving in fear of cross contamination and not knowing how to make yourself yummy cakes and cookies without traditional boxed cake mixes etc...thank you sensitive sweets for making me feel like a real human being again! Finally I get to enjoy a cupcake just like everyone else! Love love love everything I've had here...sugar cookies - lemon cupcake - mini donuts and brownies! 5 starts for sure! Worth every penny to feel "normal" and I haven't found another place free of everything!!!
Every time I'm in Orange County California I stop here to pick up bread or rolls and delicious sweet treats. Everything is awesome here!
I found the bakery to be VERY expensive. I'm pretty sure I paid $9 for a loaf of bread. I bought a specialty bread - cinnamon bread (if I recall). It was okay toasted. I also bought cupcakes. I found the cupcakes to be dry and the frosting to taste like lard or Crisco. Not impressed with this bakery. They also over charged me and I had to go back to get my money back, and both wound up on my credit card for a few days, but then worked out.
I would give the loaf of bread here 5 stars without a doubt, but not everything else lives up to the standard set by the bread. I mean, all the other things I've tried have been really good, but some have an aftertaste. It is a great feeling, though, to walk in to a bakery & have so many options & not have to worry about cross-contamination! And everyone who works there is really nice--an added bonus.
Too sweet and oily for our three gluten free family members' liking. Staff is friendly and it's a pleasure to walk into a completely gfree facility. However, the products we bought were really high in sugar.
Amazing place ! Took my friend here because she wanted gluten free donuts, and she loved it!
vegan gf options but for a price. some items were kind of hard, daughter doesn't ask to return, plenty of other places she knows closer.
Love love love!!
The best GF I have had. A bit pricy but everything is excellent. I would venture to say better than most things pre-GF life too. You won't feel like you're missing out on anything
amazing bread, cookies, cakes, etc.
The best gluten free cupcakes, breads and cookies I've ever had! The owner is super sweet too!
So yummy! I thoroughly enjoyed the lemon cupcake and "remedy" brownie/cookie bar. The store is adorable, and the service delightful. If you have food allergies and crave something sweet, this is the place!!
Love this place! They even have some gfree vegan items ;)
Very friendly staff that made me feel very welcome being my first time there, offering free samples and allowing me to take my time. They had so many yummy options to choose from... From hamburger buns to lemon bars!
Their dedication to maintaining allergy free protocol is unsurpassed. With high expectations, we drove far out of our way and found this lovely little bakery. Darn good variety for such a specialty shop. Unfortunately their baked goods were dry, flavorless and expensive. Don't get me wrong, I'm exceedingly pleased this bakery exists to make gorgeous allergy free birthday and wedding cakes. But I won't be returning until I need that wedding cake. I've been GF for 8 years now, so I'm not comparing to glutened bakery items.
They have the BEST bread I've ever had in my entire life! They even made my 22nd birthday cake and all my friends and family had second servings!
This bakery is AWESOME! Staff is wonderful and everything is delicious:) My Celiac husband can select anything in the place worry free! That's a true treat!!
the ping pongs and little monsters cookies... and the best lemon bars I've had in a long time.
This is a very good bakery! As a Celiac's and dairy free Mom, I very much appreciate the dependability and attention to food allergens detail, it relieves much of the stress and worry that you might have at other places from ordering something that could potentially make your child sick if they don't pay attention. No worries about cross contamination here! Also, the cakes are decorated beautifully and taste wonderful! We had a large birthday cake done for a campout, and everyone loved it, not even realizing it was gluten free! We have tried cupcakes, brownies and breads too, and each has been quite good. The things we have gotten do not taste commercial to us, and I make a lot of homemade foods, so we are not used to commercial. Overall, the service is excellent, the food is worry-free and quite good. I highly recommend them!
Good, but not stellar. Taste like gluten free a decade ago. They need to up the ante a bit
I really wish I had better things to say about this bakery. We visit GF bakeries all over the country- some are awesome, some are a waste of money. So sorry to say but we spent $40 so we could try a little of everything and everything was a dissapointment. Everything had a weird sponginess to it that we did not enjoy at all. It was very commercial- kinda like a gf vegan version of Von's baked goods. But if you like that type of baked good you might really enjoy this place. Staff was super friendly though and the place had a line of customers so clearly a lot of people do like it.
Amazing!!! Wish they were open Sundays :(
Excellent bakery! I've gotten many of their goods, and believe it or not, they taste even better than their "glutened" equivalent, or at least how I remember them. Excellent friendly service; they make you feel like part of their family. Anyway, if you're GF, or have just about any other food allergy, this is a must-stop if you're in the neighborhood.
I can't get enough of their cupcakes and cake pops. Would love to try more but can't pry myself away from those. I go almost every Friday to get a weekend treat. A bit pricey, but they are the best I've had and I never have to worry...so it is worth it in the end. Look for coupons...
The best Gluten Free bakery, bar none! We had the apple crumb cake and had to go back for seconds! Cute shop and excellent customer service. Go for the cupcakes but don't stop there, too many other great things to try!
The cupcakes are very moist! I haven't tried the bread or pizza mix yet but heard it was great. I look forward to trying more of their selections.
Even my fiancé admitted their GFDF cupcakes are even better than normal, gluten-y cupcakes! Yum!! :)
My hubby got me a birthday cake from here. Nobody liked it, nobody finished their piece. It was SO heavy, the waitress could barely carry it (he brought it to my party on a cruise). That vegan frosting is awful. I'm celiac. Gluten free stuff takes enough adjusting from tastebuds, real frosting is something I've learned to appreciate (before diagnosis when I ate gluten, I didn't like frosting). Go get a gf Bundt cake instead or just buy a box mix.
I really really wanted to love this place but was pretty disappointed. The savory items were okay, but all of the sweets I tried were totally bland and the only flavor came from the icing. Maybe because the ingredients are so limited to cater to all good sensitivities?I've had much better from gf bakeries in other areas and was hoping for the same. The sugar cookie was one thing that was okay. Maybe I'll try again after a while to see if it gets any better.
LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS NEW BAKERY!!! ITS RIGHT UPO THE STREET FROM MY HOUSE SO I CAN WALK THERE AND ENJOY MY DELICIOUS HEALTHY TREATS!!!! I BELIEVE THE LOVLEY AND SWEET GIRL THERE IS STACIE -- SHE EVEN KEPT THE PLACE OPEN FOR ME WHEN I WAS NOT GOING TO GET THERE BEFORE CLOSING. THANKS!! GLAD YOUR IN THE NEIGHBORHOOD :)
