Not a ton of options, but staff was very helpful and willing to adjust to accommodate us. Great place for desert! Not many options for dinner.

The onion rings say GF next to them on the menu. Should have double checked with the waiter. Now my daughter is throwing up and it's her birthday. I feel terrible. Every time I let my guard down this happens. Lesson learned. But I will be contacting the restaurant to make sure they know that the onion rings should not be marked gluten free on the menu.

Great experience. Waiter was helpful with GF options and what not to have. We just did dessert. No issues afterwards.

I’m guessing most people come here for the desserts and not the actual food. So many gf options since the frozen hot chocolate and ice cream are easily gluten free. The foods options were very limited. It would seem easy to offer their sandwiches on lettuce instead of a bun. I had the potato skins which were very delicious. When I ordered she did ask if it was an allergy to take extra care which was nice.

Serendipity is a NY icon and I’m not sure why it doesn’t have more reviews on here! We ate here 10 years ago & I was excited to bring the girls back now that they are older. We had planned on going for dessert (since they are known for their frozen hot chocolate!) but when I looked at their menu online, I was surprised to see they had gf options so we ate dinner here as well. It wasn’t the best meal I’ve had, but it was fun to have a few fried things & appetizers that we don’t normally get to have since they have a dedicated fryer. We ordered the potato skins, the loaded fries and the bang bang shrimp. It was both of my daughters’ birthdays so we splurged on the dessert also & it was well worth it! My husband & I tried 2 different flavors of the of the frozen hot chocolate while our daughter built their own sundaes. Such a fun, girlie & whimsical place but make reservations! They open 30 days in advance.

Awesome! Server was knowledgeable and careful. When he wasn’t sure, he took time to ask the cooks and report back quickly. Food was good, not great, but desserts are splendid. Two celiacs in our party, no reactions.

Such a fun experience for kids! They’re known for their frozen hot chocolates … which are beyond huge! The original frozen hot chocolate is GF and they were happy to use a clean blender for us in addition. They also had a dedicated fryer which is always huge for my kids!!!
