Serrano's Mexican Food Restaurants

I had copied a PDF file with a list of gluten friendly food items. When I got to the restaurant there was a few more items with the GF next to it on the menu. Their corn tortilla chips were not listed so I wasn't able to enjoy them while waiting for our food. I noticed that the chile rellano had a GF next to it, also the nachos had a GF next to it. I asked the waitress how that was possible if the corn tortilla chips were not gluten friendly how was it possible that the nachos were gluten friendly? She just shrugged her shoulders. Anyhow I ate Chili Rellano and got so sick. I contacted the restaurant.. the answer I was given made no sense. The lady from corporate said although the Chile Rellano is gluten friendly it is fried in the same oil as food containing gluten is fried in and may have a very small amount of gluten. How in the world do they consider that gluten friendly? Some one needs to get educated. I would not suggest that anyone with gluten intolerance or Celiac eat at this establishment.
