Roll the dice at Shame Shack if you want. They'll ask you if it's an allergy when you order a gluten free bun, but they don't really know what that means. I've asked different people there if the fryer is shared and got different answers. Really though, this chain just isn't very good.

Got cross contaminated last time but have had one meal that ha no cross contamination, just have to run the risk at this place
Most Shake Shack locations offer gluten-free buns for burgers. A lettuce wrap is also an option.
The staff knew about gluten allergies and explained the fryer is dedicated for fries but it does drain into a non dedicated bucket. They also served the GF burger on a GF bin on a separate plate. There was no immediate reaction to eating there and the food is amazing. I would recommend if you are willing to take the chance. We will definitely go again
Yes
Gluten free bun is good. No fries, no shakes. Half the experience.
They tried, they have gluten free buns and separate fryers. but I realized that the bun must have been fried on the griddle or toasted with the other buns. Staffed seemed a little bewildered by the questions, so not consistently trained about allergies. Got sick after eating here. Get it together shake shack! :(
No
Shake Shack has a gluten free bun, their burger is good for fast food. This location did not bring my gluten free burger n bun separately on a different tray as to avoid cross contamination. Other locations I have visited have put my burger on a separate tray or bag to prevent cross contamination. I did advise person taking my order that I need to be gluten free. Ask them to put celiac/allergy into the order when placed. Burger was good but concerned about possible contamination.
